Yes. Its rude and offensive to bash someone for his/her religious views. But would you bash someone who believes in a pink bunny flying in a space car and punishing you for eating rabbit meat Or punishing you for not mating in the spring at least 7 times a month? Most of the people would say , wow you are crazy for believing in this you cant be serious. But he was born on an island taught by his family that the pink bunny does exist and that anyone who says that is evil.

You are right to feel that way .The reason people are doing this is that on the public forums and even on real life when there are large groups of people it is cool to be the rationalist that doesn`t give a damn on beliefs .Some people think that makes them look smarter because they are not the "sheep" they say you are it`s like : " Stephen Hawking thinks there is no God,and I think there is no God so I and Stephen Hawking think there is no God " The truth is yes Stephen Hawking thinks there is no God but he doesn`t waste his time on internet and you won`t find too many smart people on internet .In fact most of the people who are telling you there is no God are not smarter than you.They are just a different type of "sheep " .

Well we all have different views and beliefs when it comes to many things and part of it is of course religion. I respect everyone who believes in something, or even those who choose not to believe. But I do agree that anyone who contradicts our beliefs should just given the proper respect due to our co mylotters, hence hate posts or even offensive replies should be avoided.

Well that person has an opinon to which he is entitled and whether you agree or not, like it or not, he is in fact entitled to express those thoughts. Likewise you have the choise and freedom to walk away and ignore those discussions which bother you. You can join in and disagree if you want but be prepared to be disagreed with. They are as entitled to their opinions as you are, Jazzy. Surely you can see that.

Well it is like this i dont believe in God. I have my reasons and i am more a woman of science. But i do admire those that believe. I respect their beliefs and opinions. But you cant forget that it isnt only the non believers that are "rammed into a wall". Mny people that believe in god do tend to do the same thing to those that dont believe. Every has the right to their opinion and belief and no one should be critisized for that.

I do believe in god and goddesses as a hindu, i honor all religions, never argue or fight with others on religion matters, but these days the nasty politicians put religion in to politicics and exploit all, too bad lol.. Thanks for sharing Have a nice day ahead.

Freedom of speech and freedom to worship your God without harrasment. If only that was world wide. The real curse are fanatics. Those who will not accept any point of view other than their own. It is a waste of time discussing things with them as they know they are right. Better to ignore and move on.
