Pakistan Bans Text Words

I was reading through one of my favorite sites when I came across this. A lot of common English words used by texters, from clean to naughty have been banned by the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority. Here's the article on it. They banned Jesus Christ from being used in a text as well! They even banned the word K-Mart!

sounds pretty typical to me, they aren't really our friends after all, there was just a time when we both wanted to work with each other more than we wanted to antagonize each other, and that time is currently past.

Very True. I don't like that they banned Jesus Christ from being texted, i don't think that that is right. I can understand if it's being used in vain...

well they shouldnt ban Jesus CHrist and Kamrt? just how silly it that now some of them ok but we shorten alot so guess they wil have to learn to shorten thiers just silly

I know, banning Jesus Christ is wrong in my opinion, should be allowed! Kmart being banned is just stupid!

I think if they just look and study history, they would realize that suppressing the freedom of expression (including texting) would never work. People would always find a way to express what they want, and it would come to a point when the suppressors get toppled. I know it's a different world out there, but history is bound to repeat itself.
