Am I the ONLY One That Thinks Its Stupid To Follow "Characters" On Twitter?

i can see following celebrities but now a lot of shows are making accounts for the characters of the show! seriously people! they arent real! they with have anything to twitter about and if they do it is not the actor/actress its an imaginary being. how can you really enjoy that?
do you follow tv characters on twitter? i can see following their show or movie but not the made up person only.

I don't follow anyone on twitter. I think twitter is a stupid site and people use to tell people that very few people really care about.

i think its too crowded.. i want to follow the people i chose but the homepage is full of their bs posts that crowd out the people i want to read that have something worthwhile to say

its too busy for me. if you follow more than a few people and they are active you get so many bs tweets that they crowd out the ones you actually want to read

I think it's a little nuts to follow a character on twitter. Amen to the real person, but not the character. However, to some it may be a kind of role-playing, virtual reality thing to follow these characters, just as one would play a certain role in a game. Who knows? Sadly there are times when the internet really blurs the line between reality and fantasy, and in this world, that can be dangerous. LOL There are too many people out there who have a tenuous grasp on reality, as it is.

I don't think it's "stupid", but I know I wouldn't do it. I guess that is what makes everyone different. I personally don't follow any celebrities either. I don't care that much about what they be doing. My Twitter page is mainly for networking purposes. That's really the only reason I created it.

I think it's really ridiculous! I seen people do that too which i don't really get the point i just think it's like a suppost team or something so maybe that original celebrity will give them attention! I think their just obsessed with the celebrity soo much they end up doing stuff. Plus i notice they tweet to them or say quotes about them. Basically support.
