Hi friend, I had been away from my parents or at home when I start to study my college. I was also 16 years old before, but not totally away from them because I go at home every weekend for the first maybe 3 months but when I adapted with my student's life, I seldom go home then that's my routine until I graduated in college and got good job in one of the prestigious bank in our place now. Since then I did not go at home regularly. My husband and I met at the same place where I finished my degree and where I has worked. He even one of our bank clients.

I was living on myself too as I was 15.
I never felt any appearance of any god (or family member).
I made my life myself and I am very proud of the way I did that.
So it's me who made me a great person, gave me what I needed, made me strong.
For that you need: courage, a strong will, a goal to focus at, a lot of energy, a positive lifestyl and believe in yourself.

I have experienced to be away from home when I was 9 years old. It was summer time. My cousin who stays with us invited me to spend summer with them in the city. I went with her and spent the whole summer vacation with my cousins, aunt and uncle. It was my first time to be away from home.I missed them for the first few days but because there were so many new things to learn for me, I easily get used to the environment, people and place. I had my first Sunday class with other children of my age. That was one of my most memorable summer vacation away from my siblings and parents.
When I was in high school i have to be away from home too because I got a scholarship in one of the schools in the city .Again I spent my whole high school until college away from my family. I get used to it that I was able to manage myself being away from them. I learned to become independent, responsible and self-reliant.
The experience of being away from home helped me to make big decisions in life that made me more mature.
Practically, being away from helped me to see things and situations in a wider perspective. I am so grateful to my brothers and sisters and parents who were very supportive of me. I am also thankful to God because he guided me in every action and decision I made.
