I put a down payment on a truck today.

I went to see a truck today, I need to get back to work quickly. I knew that there were problems with the truck, but it's worth it for a low mileage vehicle and that's what I'm looking for.
I'm getting a good deal for the truck, $950 including the safety. It will be great for work, a strong truck, but there are issues with it.
The emergency brake line broke right off, but it shouldn't cost much to fix. There is quite a bit of body rust, mild, but all over.
It's in pretty good shape for an older truck, but I think it will serve its purpose.
The problem will be getting a snow blower into the back of the truck, it's higher than the van was, but we should be able to manage. If I can get a good solid piece of plywood, I should have a good ramp for it.
I still have $650 to come up with, but it shouldn't take long to make if I can get some work soon.
Here's hoping.

Good on you, I think a truck is a goos investment, there is always work for men with trucks, even if it has to be just rubbish removal jobs around the local area which I have used a few times, good luck with your new truck.

I'm a woman and can do this too. I have done work like this before so can do it with this truck. I just have to get it first.

That means you can take up work only if you have a truck of your own. Then get it if necessary by availing loan. good day.

I was wondering what you would do for transportation for work. Does your boss not own a vehicle at all?

Hopefully it will work out and you will have something that will last until you can afford to get something better. Hopefully you can figure out how to get the snow blower in.

Congratulations on finding something you can use! Hope that you can get those things fixed without much hassle, but of course first raising the rest of the money for it. I'm sure you can find something you can do for a few $100.00 this time of year.
Good Luck!

Sonds line a good one! Hubby and I don't drive because we're both almost blind, but if we did, we'd either buy used, or rent a car when we need it. We're lucky that we live right downtown, and really don't need a car.

As long as it serves the purpose then it's fine and
the price is really good for that truck.
