Who all went crazy shopping on Black Friday, and who is going to the do the same on cyber monday. I'm not doing any shopping. I'm saving my money, one or two more paychecks and I'll have a layaway payment on a moped. Before I go to this one shop, however, I am going to call another one and see if they have cheaper ones and if so, if they will also do layaway. Hoping that I will be able to find something cheaper. I COULD go with something from online, the problem there is that they tend to need more fixing up, and can cost more in the long run. Not that I don't know people who can fix my moped up, I just don't want to have to do that all the time, it's not worth it. In any case, off subject, who went shopping on black friday and whose going to do so on Cyber Monday?

Thank You! I am hoping that tomorrow's paycheck will be good. If it is I will be able to pay on the layaway payment, but first going to check another place to see if it's cheaper tomorrow. If not I'll just wait until next week to get the layway payment on there, and then pay on it every two weeks. In any case, yes I didn't feel the need to go shopping black friday, even if there were good deals. Before and AFTER Christmas are the best times to shop really.

I don't like crowds so Black Friday is never something that's appealed to me. I admit that sometimes after the fact I read about amazing deals and feel a tinge of regret, but the thing is the really good deals get grabbed quickly so there's no guarantee you'd be able to get what you wanted even if were you there on Friday! Cyber Monday is more my style, though I don't really desperately need anything at the moment.

NO shopping. Just lots of nice visiting. I hope you get the transportation thing figured out and have a great time deciding on the moped.

I am not doing either one. I won't have any money to spend until after the 3rd of the month. I think these people are crazy. I have heard of atleast two cases of people pepper spraying other people to get up in the lines and such. I am not into that at all. My family does need stuff that badly.

I might do a little Cyber Monday but I stayed out of the Black Friday mess this year. It was going to be bad here..lol..there were people camping out even before Thanksgiving! I think I can still find some pretty good deals for Christmas though.

Not me. I never go shopping on Black Friday. Most of those people that do are just plain crazy. They camp out on the street instead of spending time with their families just for a good sale? It's not worth it if you ask me. Worse then that, I heard one woman went so far as to pepper spray customers just so she could get to the sale items first. That's just crazy. No sale, no matter how good it is would get me to go join in that kind of madness.

They really arent' as good prices as people want to think. I read a poster on one of those funny pages via facebook that said "Black Friday making Americans spend money they didn't really have since 1966". It's true, just stupid and a waste. Should spend time with family or getting more constructive things done. I heard about the pepper spray incident myself.
