catholic versus Iglesia of christ

Hello friends or mylotters, Did you experienced that you have a girlfriends or boyfriends that have a diffent religions? actually my friend had a problem of her boyfriend because she is Catholic and his boyfriend is iglesia of christ, the problem is the family of his boyfriend, they want them the present of girls is same of they religions, how can i advice her problem? if you are in the situation like my friend, what did you do to fight your love?

Hi HeartCJ, Both of these churches are convinced that they alone are right, although the Catholic Church has become much more accepting of others in recent years. Iglesia of Christ however, does not accept any other denomination and shows no signs of changing. Unless your friend is willing to join her boyfriend's church, there is little hope for marriage unless he breaks with his family and the church. Brainwashing does terrible things to people. Religion also matters in a relationship especially when you have a family. I think, they should talk it over many times and decide. It is better if both of them have only 1 religion. Parents decision should not be the basis in deciding, it should be for the lovers only.

Oh this is easy .They should both dump their churches and join another one if they love so much.If they don`t love too much they should separate and find someone else from inside their churches.
