As you know, the housing market usually tied up with furniture, if the housing market is down, there will be less people buying furniture, and more of them will facing financial difficulties. I heard people talk about they deposit partial of the payment for some furniture, on the next day, their stores got busted, you will lose your deposit money if you paid it with cash or debit card. So, to protect yourself, you might use credit cards as insurance, at least you can dispute it with credit card if you don't get your deposit back. What do you think?

Hi Kingparker, I have never thought of it in this way.
I try to use credit card for most purchases, so that I can keep track of my expenditure, and earn enough points for cash back rewards.
I have never gotten into credit card debt before, since i keep a very close watch on all expenditures, and I do not buy unnecessarily.
I think the idea of using credit card to pay for furniture is a good idea.

I use my credit card for risky purchases. I do not want to be scammed or ripped off by any businesses, is why.
