I'm getting my truck tomorrow.

I finally convinced my boss that a truck was a good thing to buy and I put a deposit on it about 2 weeks ago. Today I got the rest of the money for it and I go pick it up tomorrow. I can't wait to get it, it's a decent truck with extremely low mileage and should work for the winter months. There will be a lot of work to do on it, but I'm willing to put the money into the truck since it does have such low mileage, it will last longer than the van did. I have to build the ramps for it, I got the parts except for the wood, and will have to figure that out soon. Once that's done, we're ready to go with it.

That's good news, kris. Now with winter right here, you will need something steady and heavy. Good luck with all of the work to come.

I am sure you will enjoy having a reliable vehicle again. A truck sounds like a good choice, especially with low miles.

I can't wait to get it. I'll be figuring out the ramps, and will get them done soon enough.

It is probably important to have the truck on hand so you can get the ramps just right.

It is good to have the truck since you know how to deal with it or know how to put your life things up. My father bought a jeep which was very useful for us to carry our harvest product and we can also sometime rent to make money. Life will be easier when you got a vehicle, it is not because it can take to everywhere you would like to go, but it can also make money as well. Double benefits.

If it make your life/work easier in the end then I say that all the work you put into it now will be worth it. It's good that you know how to fix things like that. I would be totally clueless. of course my husband knows a lot about cars though. All the men in his family do & that comes in handy whenever any of them have any car trouble.

My roommate knows a lot about cars, so any work needing to be done will be him doing it. The good thing about the truck is that the engine compartment is more spacious than the van's was, so it will be easier to work on.

hi kris that is good to hear and that your boss finally agreed. Now you get the ramp built you are all sie to go. This will help your work I am sure too. Those do it yourself things should not be too expensive and you will have a sturdy vehicle to do your work with.Good luck and God bless.

Sounds like you are pretty happy with this new car of yours. I would like to get a truck of my own too, but I just don't have enough money to go for another spare car, plus I have to take care of the insurance also. I have too much debts on my hand and I need to clear them out as my priority. As now, my business wasn't go as I expected it to be. I am in need of more and more cash.
