After being bowled out for 150, the Kiwis mounted a good fightback by bowling out the Aussies for 136. Chris Martin, Debutant Boult and Bracewell took three wickets each to bring the Aussies back in the game and give them a 14 run lead in the first innings. In the second innings, New Zealand are currently at 40/2 with both the openers dismissed.
Can New Zealand finish off the Aussies in this match? Or will they collapse again to let the Aussies back in the contest?
Cheers!
Ram

i though never mind about the news concerning to other nations in cricket and usually neglect them. But this is one of tne interesting news as news zeland got out for just 150 and they did same to australia with bowled them for 136 but this sad that they didn't captilizdd it in secind inning and ard at 40/2. The lead they had just of 14 and not 100or 200 so they need to put effort and make big score now. If they didn't match will be out of hand well i am wating for another suprise!

Well Ram, it is hard to say about the result of this match. The reason is that New Zealand is not playing to their potentiality in their batting especially. So, if the Australian bowlers maintain a good line and length then they definitely will make kiwi batsmen some mistakes and take wickets quickly in this process. So, it is interesting contest but I love to see Kiwis win this contest to make this test series very interesting. Ross Taylor and Williamson have build a good unbeaten 66 runs and if they both score hundreds then the match will swing in favor of New Zealand. But Australian team bowling attack is in great form, so, anything is possible in this game.

I think if New Zealand fails to bring more than 250 runs lead in the end of their 2nd innings Australia has the chances to win this test. Recently Australian's batting line up has shown stability in critical situations, even tail enders too get runs. In the last test match against S Africa they showed it, winning the test surpassing the target of 310 amid the brilliant bowling of A Africa. But a lead of more than 250 Australia would be under pressure.
