Does it matter that Obama is black anymore? Of course it does he has done such a good job of diffusing the issue that it has not directly come up very much. But to millions of Americans and millions across the world he represents opportunity and hope. If he can rise to the highest officer in the world we can accomplish what we set my mind to. There is a backlash in some quarters against black men. The president has set the standard high. Its expected a professional black man will be as polished as intelligent and as savy but Obama is not the standard he is the exception but more importantly he is an inspiration for millions to live up and that is his greatest value. But it makes it harder for him with conservative opposition and makes it harder for blacks with white backlash but in the end it will better for all.

Of course, the color of obama's skin (black, half-black or whatever he is) has never been the issue. Obama lives and breathes just as any far left liberal does. I am confident that if a far left white man were in office, we would have about the same situation. Besides everything he does or thinks, the part of obama that really stinks is the ongoing black attitude that he struts around with. This historical victim garbage promotes racism at every turn, including the most prevalent type of racism: blacks against whites. I would have been pleased with Herman Cain as the next president. He is an example of a black man that has demonstrated he can live without the black attitude - always blaming the white man for their problems and claiming that everyone owes them something. Obama has set every standard low. He has made the office of President one that any idiot with a basketball can fullfill. I am sure that many Americans (even some of those who voted for obama) are hoping that everyone knows that obama is the exception to the rule, and that he is not a typical black man. Obama has been a disgrace to most African-Americans, and they will not vote for him again. Obama needs to be shipped out of this country with as much disgrace as can be applied to him.

Black people are fair and just and we saw through what became a buffoonery in the campaign of Hermain Cain, while whites were entralled by Cain's cadence and are still not sure whether he sexually harrassed. Black people have been paying attention to challenges to Obama's growth. If you ask black people did OJ really do what they say, we say of course but the real is were okay with him getting away if they could n't prove because of all the travesties done to us over the centuries. But we would not have been said if he was first proved guilty because we know he did and we were not crazy about OJ. Black people see Obama as a good man trying to survive as a fish out of water who has but a little pool and is holding on day by day. But each day he survives he thrives and learns to grow. Its is also seen that he is thriving and surviving better those traditional people and it is a concern to the status quo. In many ways his campaign mirrors the uphill battle many black men face. We know Obama's not perfect and we chastise him but as we would yell at our favorite athlete and who sometimes scores points for the other team. Obama tried to build and will continue to try to build more of a one team mentality. However with the conservatives destroy him at all cost mentality, working with Republicans has been difficult. He has had great success in foreign policy with a lead from behind approach. Because of these things blacks and the majority of Americans will give him an 'A" and he will have no problem being reelected. oh yeah PS he will push through a Tax and Defecit package which slightly increases tax on people making a million dollars.

1. New comprehensive tax and defecit reduction policy will pass Congress before election which includes tax on rich. With the victory in payroll tax issue the President will move forward. Instead of getting a one year extension they will sign a four year extension. 2. Comprehensive Immigration reform will be proposed in into Congress. Troops on the border will be increased. A guest workers program will instituted that will allow the 11 million to stay. Their taxes will be increased. Those caught without guest worker staus in two years will be sent back. 3.The United States will establish a permenanet post in Middle east. Instead jumping around in middle east wars the US will set up a permanet Middle East post in Bahrain or Somalia 4. Hillary Clinton will be appointed Vice President. Political this moves makes the reelection no contest because many many women will vote on the experience of Hillary and the history of it. 5. Israel will attack Iran Isreal once they see President obama wins reelection will not leave to chance their future and will attack. The United States will stay out it until Obama's out of office. Israel will winning with The US imderground help. 6. Trade war with China The Trade war with China will rise and become a problem. North Korea will also provoke more and have several skirmises with S. Korea. President Obama will increase the Global brand and pride by promoting America America across the world. 7. Amendment to add 5 states to the Union of states American Somoa, Us Virgin Islands, Phillipins, Puerto Rico and Washington , DC. Each would add senators , and representative and stae legislatures and Govenors. This is a critical time in the world and the world needs some one with a sense of history and a sense of historical history, Meaning someone who understands the world turns in cycles. Civilizations and attitudes change. What a group was willing to accept 50 years ago they are no longer willing to accept. Technology is further changing the world. The arab spring shows a dewsperation in the world. This is the time at hand. America needs someone who understands the nature of the change that is happening and be able to be at the forefront of change. President Obama is that leader.

The color of a person's skin has nothing to do with the performance of their jobs or their abilitiesl=. too much is often contrintuted to a person's skin color just to discredit them and lower opinion and esteem for them, I say let obama and his skin color alone and let him get his job done.

Hi Sourceseeker, In my opinion, I don't really think a man's origin or which community he belongs to has any role to play. And nowadays, I think a major part of the population have learnt not to discriminate any body. All that matters is how good a person is and how helpful he is to the society. Regards, Narthan

A man with a victim mentality will never be a strong leader. He is clearly the first anti-America president we have ever had. Hopefully never again.

Hi Sourceseeker, Color and race should never be an issue, we are all equal. I agree though that for some people, it always will be, and I feel sorry for such people. Blessings.

Racism, sexism and many other isms are part of the human experience. Its a part of the ego that God created us with. We have to continue to find our way through it and not act like it is not there and face it. For 15% of the country race has always been an issue upront. for the other 50% of us , race is a big underneath issue. It is is the issue that we are un willing to deal with. Race qas an issue is getting because of our kids and our free media/entertainment system. However it is different for the office of President and its symbolism of being the leader of the whole world. Many believe that is not a role a black man is qualified to hold. In antiquqy, Blsacks were kings of the world for centuries. Time is cyclical. What has gone around will come around again. !

It never mattered that he was black to begin with to most people. Most people who don't like him have other reason for not liking him. But the democrats rallied around race in the 2008 election saying if you didn't like Obama you were racist, and from that day people who disagree with Obama have been branded racist if they disagree with him. I am hoping that the race card will not be played like it was in 2008 in this next campaign.
