Praying Before Sleeping

Please tell me that you don't believe what you red in Readers Digest. I would not believe that bull. I was laughing when I first read this post. I know you like to pray before going to bed, and thats your right to do so, but to believe something crazy in a magazine is totally crazy.

There are several reasons why I pray before going to sleep at night (although I rarely do): Since the time of night is a good time to pray, I can think about the day that I have lived. I thank God for all things He has done and talk to Him about the problems n my struggles. Also, I pray for protection, I ask God to be able to get sleep soundly and beautiful dreams and keep me from the frightening dreams. Praying before bed is a good habit to be formed and maintained. But it would be nice if we do not just pray before bed. We can pray at any time.

Actually I have always believed that one needs to Pray in the morning when they first wake up, to thank God for another day, and to also ask him to help guide you thru what you must do that day. Then praying before bed you Thank God for that day, and ask him to keep you and friends safe during your sleep as well as pray for other needs you have as well believing God to help you thru anything you need.

Though I don't believe that there are unusual creatures that stare at us while we are sleeping, I do say prayers before I go to bed at night. I always pray for the safety of my family and myself. I also pray for those people that I care about that are going through tough times in their lives. Additionally, I also pray for fellow mylotters that I know are having difficult things that are going on in their lives because I know that there are many members here that have been keeping my family in their prayers.

It is so childish. I don't think it is true. But I believe in this unusual creatures though. I do pray before I go to sleep. I make it a habit. My parents taught me this.

Bs I don't believe that at all. There are lots of people that don't pray and stuff and they are all just fine and happy. Nohing bad has happen to them. I sleep great when I don't pray as wells when I do it makes no difference when someone does or doesn't. It all in the person head.

God want us to pray before we sleep to have guidance,protection and to feel great and also no bad dreams. Prayer is the attitude of humbleness,and willing to talk,meditate God.
