Regis Philbin was at the hospital where my boyfriend works

Today Regis Philbin was going to holy cross hospital here in south Florida to give some sort of talk. I heard it on the news last night and it's the same hospital where my boyfriend valets. Him and I aren't fans or anything, but I thought it was neat that a celebrity was going to be where my boyfriend worked.
I told my boyfriend this today and he got a little upset that he was going on a day he wasn't working. Even though my boyfriend wasn't going to be there while Regis was there, he still thought it was pretty cool.
Have you ever had a celebrity come to where you work or a regular place you visit?

I quit my last job in April of last year. From a big company, to a small one, but I still call up my friends over there.
Last month when I called, my friend told me that an area of their big production floor was being used for a hollywood movie. I didn't really get who the celebrities where in the movie, but it was a bit upsetting as nothing similar happened in the 5 years I worked there.

Oh wow, that's actually pretty exciting. Lol too bad it happened after you left :( I wonder how they came up with the idea for using that particular building and floor. If you ever see the movie at least you'll be able to say "Hey! I worked at that same place!" lol

Tat is neat. Once Kenny Rogers was at the hospital I worked at. We were told to not approach him and not ask him for an autograph. I forgot the reason he was there, but Athens was his home town. I think his (then) wife might have been a patient but u don't really remember.

That's pretty cool. It's understandable that they didn't want anyone going up to him, especially if his wife was hurt or sick. Even though you couldn't go up to him, I bet it was still pretty exciting to have a celebrity where you worked.
