i was looking at old picture files of my little girl about 3 years ago, she is my first baby and i always like to take a picture of her every time. i like capturing every moment back when she was a baby until now on camera or video. i come across again on these files which i burn in a CD and i can really see the difference and realize how time flies these days..it feels like it was just yesterday when she was an infant and a baby..i look at those pics and she was looking so round and cute as a baby..in those days, i would want her to grow up quick to be a toddler..i am excited by her developments and would like to see her walk and talk..nowadays, she's already big at 3 years old and sometimes, i want to baby her..and sometimes i wish she was a baby again because babies are so cute looking..sometimes we feel this way that when we have a baby we want them to grow up fast but when they're grown to be a toddler or preschooler we missed those days when they are baby..looking so cute and chubby..do you sometimes think this way?

I didn't experience feeling that way with my child, my friend. But what you are feeling is just but natural for a mother.
I savored every stage that she went through as she grows up until not that she's 21 years old. We took a lot of pictures of her in every stage of her life specially when there are occasions.
Now, whenever i go through them, i couldn't help but shed a tear or two, because i miss those days and haven't experienced them anymore because she was our only child.
So, enjoy your toddler and take those videos of her for every stage of her life. I hope you will have other kids too and get to double or triple the experience.

that is right, when our babies grow older and they become a toddler or preschooler..we look back on their pictures when they were babies..and sometimes we feel, we want a baby again because we want to experience having cute babies but it takes a lot of responsibility..they only look cute but it's hard taking care of them..

Yes, the baby is cute but taking care of her/him is a difficult one.

Hee hee! I look at my almost 7 year old daughter and think where did the time go! We often look back at her old photos and videos - oh she was so cute (well, still is on our eyes, but in a different way). We also have a 2 year old son, and with him we also think the same way - where did the baby times go - and it even seems to be going faster with him. As much as baby times were cute and enjoyable, it was also a lot of work. So I actually embrace that they are more independent these days and can communicate their needs. I will say from my experience that I think I truly loved the 2 year old stage the best (although I will miss all of the stages) - and sometimes I do wish that stage was frozen in time - but you know in reality the kids are just going to keep on growing - ha ha. I miss it with my daughter, but then I got to relive that stage with our son . . . and I know one day I will be missing it with my son too.

yes sometimes we say "i wish this baby will stay this way forever and not grow anymore" because they are so cute when they are babies..round and chubby but when they reached 3 or 4..they look different already...so we miss the times when they are a little baby especially when they are at the age of 5 months..that is the time they start to become round and chubby..and looked really cute...

I probably would be in your situation soon because in three months' time, I will give birth to a baby boy. I can only imagine what you're going through. Indeed, babies are cute and whenever I look at my brother's newborn baby, I also get the feeling that in the future, I will probably miss her baby form. I'm happy when I see her laugh because it's rare and she's still new to it.
