As we know that Liverpool has strongest squad in late two years but they still lack of creativity in front and wasting too much chances to score even played against unseeded teams..Understand they missed Suarez out for eight games due to ethic violence and Andy Caroll has not really adapt well with the way the reds play even though he has good progress but not the goal..So Dalglish need to hire another strikers who able to fulfill their lack of creativity to score a goal..
I have heard they aim to hire Jermain Defoe from Spurs in this January transfer windows..He offered 10 million pounds to Spurs to get Defoe join to Anfield. I don’t think it will be good move since they have already got Bellamy who has same style with Defoe. Understand that Defoe is also need to be played more often to ensure his place on the England National team. He could miss Euro 2012 if Redknapp always choose Adebayor tandem with Rafael Van der Vaart in the front line..So this could be high motivation in his side and could be make a difference for Liverpool as well.
So what do you think about this transfer news?

Hi omchesunche I feel that Liverpool have a great creative player in Luis Suarez and they do create a host of chances every single game.. But the problem for them is that they are really wasteful in front of goal.. I think it was against Norwich at Anfiled where I believe Suarez could have scored 5 or 6 if he was clinical adn the Liverpool should haev wont that game by a distance.. Instead they wee left to rue their wasted chances
In this regard I feel that Defoe will be great buy if they get them.. This is because he is a good and a no nonsense finisher and will pair up wel with Suarez.. He can probably the much needed goals that Liverpool are craving for now. Cheers

Well, you are right friend.. The Reds is really missing Suarez creativity and willingness to score more goals..We have seen they lack of creativity in front.. Someone like Defoe who has fast pace and good dribbling could be the answer.. Most of the time, Liverpool wasting so much chance by deliver crossing directly or shooting from distance.. It should be someone like Suarez who bravely penetrate to opponents defenders and open the area for other players as well..appreciate your response..

WEll said omchesunche sometimes Liverpool look lost wehn Suarez does not play. He is an amazing player no doubt, but they need other creative players to, as too much reliance on 1 player is not good. The more he is away there are more chances of them getting draws against lesser teams at home and the elusive 4 th Champions league spot will become a dream. I hope they do well after all the money they have spent in the last 1 year.. Cheers.

The win against Man City briefly hid this need for Liverpool. I completely agree with you that they need strikers who can score goals. Currently Suarez is out. Andy Carrol does not seem like he can score a goal at this moment. I would be interested to see if Liverpool go back for Torres as he is having a tough time at Chelsea himself. It might be a win-win for both club and player, but not sure how AVB will react to it!!
Cheers!

Well, appreciate your response..yes indeed.. Carroll has not really shown great performance even though his posture and positioning looks good but not the end result or finishing touch..I also wonder if Torres willing to return back to the Anfield and has quality tandem with Gerrard or Suarez as well..However, AVB has answered that Torres is not for sale and he is actually playing well for Chelsea even though not score but he gives good contribution to open the area and assisting other players as well..
Appreciate your response..

I feel like our midfield has been sort of a mess ever since Lucas got injured, but the return of Steven Gerrad has been able to boost our midfield's performance. I think it would be best that we buy a striker this transfer season, maybe Llorente or because our finishing has been completely dismal, and we can't afford to draw or lose any more of our games if we want to play in Europe next year. Case and point - our game against ManCity which we drew 1-1. I think that if we had capable finishers, we would have been able to win that one.

Defoe is good because he is a good goal poacher but i think that liverpool need a more cleverer player upfront someone that can partner Suarez. I think Carloz Tevez would be excellent for liverpool as he can score goals and create goals and he has a good understanding and awarness.
Another good player is Westbroms Peter Odemwingie he is an excellent fast player who can finish if i was a premiership manager i would take a gamble on either of those players.
