Hi,
You read an interesting discussion and thought of posting your response. But then you realize the best response has already been marked. Would you like to read the ‘best response’? Would you still post your response? I like reading it and sometimes I do add comments even after the BR has been selected. What is your way of posting response?

Hello Viju
,
When a topic appeals to me then I give my reply even if the best response already selected
. However, I always make a point to read the best response, in case the topic is having so many responses. If the topic is having less response then I may read other’s responses too. All depends on the time in my hand, reading other responses can educate us on some subjects. Sometimes I really enjoy the funny conversation of other members.

Hi sree,
Very sweet of you to have read and responded after a long time. I do understand it depends a lot on our mood too (other than time- for me).
Nice to read your responses dear. May i ask why you are silent for a while now? you haven't initiated your own discussion.. or did i miss any?
Take care

Honestly speaking viju, i never read the best response because i know how it is selected. It is true that if the content of discussion attracts me, then surely i visit the discussion and add my own opinion. It is not the matter to me to consider that it is already responded.
have a nice time.

Hi Viju!
If I find an interesting discussion, I just post my response, irrespective of the fact whether the user has already awarded the Best nor not. I love to share my views without checking what others have said.
Sometimes, if time permits I read the Best Response but not always.
How are you doing?
Have a nice day.

Hi,
Even i am in your category... sometimes very soon the BR is marked and you know at times i am confused as there are too many good responses and whom to choose as best response. Oh, seems to be a new topic.. thanks for being here and have a nice time.

Sometimes I am rather intrigued. Of course, I never really notice whether or not a best response has been picked until after I post. There are just going to be many times where I just feel rather interested in a topic and feel that I have to contribute my own opinion to everything that interests me rather on this website.
Then again, as I see the Best Response has been posted, I'm intrigued. Especially if there are only like two other responses. Sometimes the best response does seem like a rather knee jerk reaction for a lot of people. There are just going to be many times where the post might be good, but what if someone posts better? Then again, I'm sure many will agree that it would not be an easy task to pick a best response. Well sometimes it might be.

Thanks megamatt for sharing your views here. And sometimes we find there are just two-three responses and the best response already marked. And then again there are better responses to read as a reader's point of view. But then it is upto the Initiator to select a BR sooner or later. Even i agree it is tough to choose a best response when there are many good responses for a post. May be that's why few discussion are not resolved.

Well normally i don't read the response before i post mine,i may not agree with the best response chosen by the discussion , well i have nothing to do with that.
Best of luck.

Hi Viju
Lazy theSids never reads anything beyond the discussion and if there are some friends who have posted, he does read a few of them. BR Marked or not... Hmmm... The more important thing that I look out for today is - does the starter respond to those who responded? If yes, I go ahead and post the response... otherwise... nah! I dont want to pain my fingers type to myself
And the last one - when anyone gives me a BR on a discussion, I try to revert back, say thanks - but be careful - MyLot doesnt approve and many a times removes the Thank You (they borrowed it from the Oscars I guess
) so be careful to add more content on the response beyond those Thanks

hi, i thought only I am lazy to start a discussion but it is nice to see you too get lazy. Someimtes i plan to start some topic and then end up reading and responding only. oh, y/day i couldn't respond to anything after the start of this topic as i was busy. Anyways, thanks for your response and I was not aware they delete 'thank you'.

My way of posting response is: reading the whole discussion starter, reading the first three comments, and then making my own response.
I don't really care whether it already has BR or not yet - and in most time, I don't really read the BR xD. As long as I still have something to say, I will post mine..

Hi, that's a good way. Only by reading the first three comments, you place your views. There are times when i had to read three or four pages of responses before posting comment to that topic of my interest. Nice to know your style here and thanks for sharing too.

hello , yeah i likes to read the the 'best response' if the topic is interesting and it gives some information to me.and for sure i do comment on that even if i have something different to say.
because if we saw best response to any topic and that topic is relevant to you then if read that response you sure get some new points about that topic that increase your knowledge as well.
according to my way of posting ,i post only to those topic that i found interesting.
because there are many topic that does not relates to me and for those i did not respond.

. If I start then I am responsible to be particular on commenting.
