52th Arts Festival / State competition..!!!!!

Hai friends...
Have you heard about Arts festival?????That's the competition between the students from different district..There are 14 districts in India..All districts selects the brilliant students by conducting a competition..Then that selected students can participate in the festival...There have best actor,Best actress,Best singer etc..And the district which scored high points will be the winner..They will get a prize..
Now the festival conducted at the cultural place Thrissur(Trichur)..We all are in a festival mood...We hope that Thrissur will get the prize..The competitions are conducting at 17 stages..The program will end on sunday...

Well, I don't live in India, so this is not something that I'm familiar with, but I do think that it is a great thing from what you've shared about it. One of the things that I've observed here is that there isn't nearly enough emphasis on the arts and even though schools can't have as much emphasis on art as I feel their should be due to financing issues, I do think that there needs to be a lot more emphasis on arts in our society.

yes. Dassodils. Kerala is known for light music, kathak. Boys and girls of Kerala sing extremely well--god has put all honey into the throats of boys and girls of Kerala.
I wish Trichur wins as you like. Even otherwise another part of Kerala will win.

Good Luck, Dassodils! I live in America but will be thinking and wishing for you and Thrissur to win!
I've always loved The Arts. I am not talented in those areas, accept actual art (drawing, painting, etc). I love to go watch the talent shows. I also try to get to many of the local high school plays.
