when it comes to buying.
I had a discussion about our uniform allowance..and yes i was able to spend it all and i was happy with what i had bought and will be returning the receipts to the office.
But then..yesterday i was at the mall and yes i bought that briefs and socks for my hubby when i passed by BAYO!!!! And i saw this "blazer" like top..that is black ( one of the colors i love to wear) and i fell in love with it!!!
I got it from the rack..and beside it - i saw another clothing, a piece of lingerie, a bra and panty.. in RED ( another color i am a sucker for) and i fell in love with it too.
I tried the black top...and it fits just perfect. But guess what? i have no spare money with me...because i promised myself i would only bring what i need to avoid buying stuff i don't want...like those i have seen....
but sneaky as i am, i have my DEBIT CARD with me..and i know i have some spare in it...so i showed the sales lady the top and lingerie...and as i showed her my debit card. She said, "Ma'am we do not accept BPI Debit Card" wahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!
I was like broken hearted..but of course i did not show it...but i said it is ok i can come back, there is an atm in the mall and i could just withdraw...so i left...
but the walk to the ATM made me think, maybe IT IS NOT MEANT FOR ME. Because i promised myself for this year there won't be excessive buying....ugh but yes i didn't go back. But i am still thinking about it. Maybe this coming payday i will have some spare.

I agree that it's not meant for you jazel!
Thank yourself that you realized that you are not true to your promise of buying impulsively. That is one way of disciplining yourself.
Just last week i also saw a nice blouse on a boutique. I know i have some spare money , because i looked at the price first. But when i fitted it, it doesn;t look nice on me.
Thus i returned it, and happily told myself , thank you , because i wasn't able to succumb to impulsive buying which i am trying to avoid at all times.

That's true. And just like you, i avoid my husband's interrogation as to why i bought a new thing again!

hahaha yes they really tend to scrutinize it - they just don't get it!

I'm having a rough time not buying things, too. I need to save for so many things and it's not happening. I see too many things that I want to buy.
