As we know that city vs spurs big match ended up with City win 3-2 over spurs. However, Spurs has shown fantastic efforts and great motivation in this game. The have tried their best and has succeed to level 2-2 after 0-2 behind, from Defoe and Bale goal. After that tied, Defoe has really open opportunity to score goal, he missed to shot from short distance in front of Joe harts goal line, even Joe hart the City goal keeper has passed by beautiful cross..If Defoe were scored his second goal, I think the end result will be different..
Now, spurs has suffer another lost from City this season.
What do you think about Spurs overall performance?
Players configuration:
Manchester City: Hart, Richards, Savic, Lescott,Clichy, Milner, Barry, Aguero, Silva, Nasri, Dzeko (Balotelli 67')
Tottenham: Friedel, King, Kaboul, Assou-Ekotto,Walker, Parker, Modric, Bale, Lennon (Pienaar 88'),Van der Vaart (Livermore 68'), Defoe

Had Defoe scored that second goal, then Spurs could have won the match. I think more than Defoe, it was Bale who was at fault in that goal as he delayed the pass a fraction longer and it made it very difficult for Defoe and he missed the target. But it was a great performance by Tottenham and it was no shame in defeat for them.
Cheers!
