I don't watch the news nowadays because I don't see anything good from the news. It's all rising gas prices and the impeachment case. So I spend more time online than watching TV. This morning as I opened my Facebook account, I saw a repost from a friend regarding a friends' mother who has been missing since January 20 of this year.
Now I don't believe everything I read or see in Facebook, but what caught my attention was the heading my friend posted that the kidnapping was like the third case for this year. So I did a little research and found that the post was true and that the person in the picture has been missing. It was said that she was going to a bank in Quezon City but never got to the bank and has not been seen since. It was also said that she was carrying a huge sum with her that's why she was going to the bank to deposit it.
Now, if this is indeed the third case of kidnapping in our country does this mean we are reverting back to those times where we became so known for such cases and it was unresolved? I know that our country is poor, but there are a lot of things we can do in order to earn a decent living. I am posting the link (this is not a referral site, please!) so that if in case someone here has seen her can notify her family.

I hope this person gets reunited with her family soon.

Here and there kidnapping cases are everywhere. If it's not about kidnapping it will about murder, robbing, raping abusing etc. That is what I read from the newspapers. There is always crime happened everyday. But recently from what I have read, it seems that most of the crimes happened after the criminal did a very good observation and made some good planning to get their activities done. They are already have their target and check every move of the target and when they got chance they will do it. the crime will never gets end.Hope they will find the woman. I don't want anything bad happen to her.

hello. i haven't been watching the news, so I'm not totally aware of all of this. but that is very sad to hear. i hope those kind of bad things will never happen to my family. kidnapping is really prevalent in our country, i just hope that the police fixes this issue. but you know i heard before that some kidnappers are part of our military or police force. i know that there are only a few and not everyone , but i hope they continue to clean our government. start with corrupt corona :)
