As we know, Azarenka had succeed to win The Australian open 2012 after easy win against Sharapova 6-3,6-0. She performed perfect tennis game and made Sharapova doing too many unforced error in this game.In facts, this is her first ever Grand Slam title since her professional career in 2003 and seems amazing because this was her first ever grand slam final as well. She also becomes the first player who. Able sit in the first position of WTA rank world without ever sit on the second position replacing Caroline Wozniacki..
Despite poor performance of Sharapova, Azarenka was deserved to win this match..
What do you think about her performance last night?

I was expecting Sharapova to put up a better fight because of her famous determination. Actually, except for the errors, the stats were not that far off. But when two players have a big game as here, the one that can control their errors will win. As you said Azarenka earned the win and thus became number one.

well, you have great points.. Sharapova should be able to shown better performance ..She only able to catch up and has close game at first half when she was level 3-3 but after that every things going wrong for her.. Azarenka seems already has read Sharapova weaknesses and force her to make so many mistakes in this game, her scream also not really helping her this time around...
really appreciate your response..

It turned out to be a one-sided affair in the end. It was too easy for Azarenka. It is for the 5th straight year a different person has won the Australian Open title. I think the women's game is now opening out and the race for the top spot has just started. Of course, currently it is Azarenka's to lose.
Cheers!

well, yes you are right.. It was dissapointing performance by Sharapova, seems she lack of focus looking at her unforced errors which so many..It was interesting fact for Women australian open, different with Men single while Djokovic able to maintain his title in Australian Open..I think with Azarenka in number one spot, the competition in women will be tougher as well since their points not really has big gap each other..
really appreciate your response..
