Signing bonus or rewards will be reported as taxable income

If you sign up with those credit cards, or who promoting to give you $100 or some frequent flying mileages, let say $0.15 per mileage, and you might get 25,000, like one of those express gold card. Or the bank might give you a sign bonus, like Chase bank usually would give you $100 to $300 sign bonus. Those extra bonus or reward might reported as taxable income. So, when you file your tax return, take regard on it.

I think you only have to claim it if it's over $600, isn't that right? I know in Minnesota you only have to fill out a W-2 for a job if you made more than $600. That's why with a couple of my more profitable sites I use, I had to be careful to only make around $580 last year
