Who's better the Lakers or The Clippers it remains to be seen. The Clippers probably have the most talent. And the aquisition of Kenyan Martin makes them an even stronger playoff challenge. The backcourt is one the best ub the league with Chris Paul, Chauncey Billups, Randy Foye and Mo Williams who has really been lighting things up off the bench. He cna be counted on as a super scoring threat from the bench and leads in the six man of the year candidates. Of course the Clippers are highlighted by slam dunk champ Blake Griffin. His flash is just as important as his depth and telent to beat you inside or out. The Clippers are round out by DeAndre Jordan who is fast becoming one of the best centers in the game. Baring an major injury to Griffin or Jordan the Clippers will challenge for it all. Can the Lakers keep up? Anything is possible with Kobye Bryant if he and the bigs of LA get in sync at the right time they will always be dangerous with proven experience. We will have to wait and see who is better.

I have yet to see when Clippers would be better than Lakers. I couldn't remember Clippers was even close to Lakers until Clippers got Lamar Odom as best player. I'm sure it's a much better team now which make LA derby games more interesting, but I'd say Lakers is still a better team.

Everything must change sometimes. Before the Rockets won they did not seem to have a chance before San Antomnio won theitr first no one believed before Dalls rode through the playoffs no one felt they were a team of destiny. Why not the Clippers this year.

You're so right. Sometimes underdog teams do surprise us. Clippers will have their turn too; and do you really think it will be this year? Better sooner than later, I suppose; at least before NBA vanishes.

Sourceseeker, I know this contribution might be last but I would still like to share my view, for me Lakers are a better team and Clippers should have being better but the only thing I know they have that is missing in Lakers is the agility the younger players bring to the floor. I know you asked this question ahead of the two meeting in the playoffs this past season where both teams showed promising abilities to win the championship but both fell out along the road, but in the conference they were fierce competetitors and both won each other on their floors but the combination of Chris Paul and Griffin could still out scored Kobe who averaged 27 points per game.

You know things will change this year with Steve nash coming to town and what about Bynum will he be there? I think the lakers would be crazy to let him go. The Clippers should be Better just with a years experience Blake Griffin will be one of the best if he does not get hurt.

The Clippers have not proved it yet even though they go further than the Lakers last year. The lakers lost in the first rd to the Thunder while the Clippers beat Memphis and both teams should be better. We will see what happens.
