woo hoo!!! they're moving! they're moving!!! :-D i'm so doing the happy dance!!! my sister told me today that they'll start moving their stuff out on mon. woo hoo!!!!! i'm staying calm on the outside, but i am so doing the happy dance on the inside. due to my hours, i won't be able to help them move, but that's the way it goes. my kids are so happy that they'll be getting some more of their privacy back. i'm thrilled to have some peace in the house again. it'll be another two weeks before i can have a bbq at my place. as soon as i can have it, i'm inviting all our friends over that wouldn't come because they were here. this is going to be awesome! :-D :-D :-D :-D

Yes, nothing like having your own privacy in your own home. I found it hard to understand how common it is that households in Indonesia are lived by extended families. I suppose it is mostly for financial reasons. When I lived there, I even felt awkward having a lived in maid which is also very common in Indonesia. I am so used to just having my immediate family living and doing the household chores.

that was one of the reasons why they were living with me. they had just moved from one state to ours. they didn't have money or a job when they got here. it has taken them over a year to get their own place.it is a joyous occassion all around.
