The Passion of the Christ ... And Reading Through the Bible

Have you seen this yet? Easter will soon be upon us. As I read through the Bible in 2012 I've come across the crucifixion story in Mark and I thought of this movie. I was thinking how much the disciples messed up here (and how it was the women who rose to the occasion, but I digress). Now I know Mel Gibson has made his own personal mistakes after this movie went to air but that's okay. The movie wasn't supposed to focus on him, its purpose was to point to Jesus. That it did. Will you watch this movie again with your family this Easter?

No, I haven't seen this. I remember all the controversy when it came out and what Mel said and all. I am not a religious person so this movie is not really something I am interested in. It is in my Netflix queque so it should be coming up soon. I may watch it around Easter time.

Yeah, Mel has said stuff and done stuff. None of which was good. Looks like he's paying for it now. I hope you get a chance to see the movie though. Don't forget, it was also an historical account as well. Let me know what you think if you decide to watch it. I would be very interested to hear your opinion.
