Last Sunday's Healing Circle was a HC on steriods. It started at 12:30PM and was still going when I left at 6:55PM.We took a break for supper, but it was really straight through. Metal vibrational therapy talk-also blessed water discussion, then Reiki one person. Your health is in your hands-palmistry, then Reiki one person. 7 Elements and Reiki one person. Triangle healing and Reiki one person. 4 pillar healing and Reiki one person. Then I left and two more people still needed to have Reiki-one from our group and another from another group. There were 18 people, divided by 3 rooms which is 6 people to a room. I should have left at 4PM because I was exhausted by the time I left. After they Reiki'ed me, I was fine, but the length of time, I was just too tired. Nest time, I'll leave while I'm still at the height of feeling well. So have you ever stayed too long some where? Have you ever felt like some of the knowledge could have been stretched out or left to another time? Have you ever been really tired and wished you had gone home earlier? I don't remember much of anything. Too much in one day. I wish they had covered just one topic. At the most 3 topics for those who could remember.

I would think that six hours plus is way too much to take in of anything. Glad it was all good. Tiring is a good thing.

Except that right now, I'm not supposed to get over tired. By close to the end, I was exhausted. I couldn't even get up until noon on Monday. I think you're right, 6 hrs plus is a lot. My poor head and body were swimming. And I didn't even have a pool!

i know that feeling very well, writersedge. also i am very bad at leaving, as i feel like i am being rude, so i tend to stay to the end, or wait for others to take the lead and leave, as i don't want to be the one to end the party, and therefore spoil it. maybe the lesson here is that you could have helped them to end the party, by leaving early, and putting your own needs higher up the agenda. sometimes there can be a situation where everyone is just too polite to say they have had enough, and i bet you weren't the only one who felt it went on too long.

Exactly, from now on, I'm picking a time and leaving. Most people go at 12 and eat lunch, then do everything, a few people leave before supper. I think I'll leave with them. Thanks and take care.

Sounds like there was certainly a lot packed into your session. Maybe there is some benefit to the amount of activity involved in the small session. I definitely think that spreading some info over a period of time can be a huge help in retaining info.

I think 7 topics in one day is a bit much for this old brain. Esp since no one there had notebooks. Generally when I've been to healing situations, you're taught one technique and you practice that all evening. That way, by the end of the evening, you know it by heart. Not seven done once or 3 done once and many others just talked about. Learning something once by presentation and then practicing it all evening makes way more sense to me.

Sounds like a lot of fun. Even if you stayed to long and wore yourself out. When we are having fun it is hard to leave a place.

Very true. But I was even tired the next day. So I really overdid it.
