I made my hubby and I a pineapple upsidedown cake. I also made one for my massage therapist so he was equally delighted. We did go out to dinner though. I had Chicken teriaki with rice and a really nice salad. Hubby had the chopped sirloin steak. Did anyone bake anything special for dinner?

Hi marie: As I said before in some previous discussions I have answer I just stayed in my office and do the normal stuff. At the same time I am on a diet right now until March 31st which is my birthday so I just have my yoghurt for dinner and do some work out before going to sleep. ALVARO

Wow March 31st. You have a ways to go! I wish you the best in your endevors. I have to get back to eating yogurt too. I tend to eat it a few days then would rather eat fruit. Have a wonderful day and good luck with your diet plan! Let me know how it goes. I am doing one right now and have lost 6 lbs in 3 weeks.

I didn't make anything special. I never do. I live alone and hate to cook and it seems a waste of time whe it's just for me. My neighbor brought me cookies and her kids had made me something and they gave me a card. That made it more than just another day for me.

Flowers and chocolates - Wonderful ways to say I love You!
No I did not really cook anything special for dinner because we we went out to dine. Nevertheless I received something special (secret) from my hubby and I saw a lot of people busy buying flowers and chocolates for their special one. It was such a big day for commercialism and the vendors enjoyed it a lot. Well after the Valentines brouhaha I think I am now ready to make something special for dinner today. For our dessert I am making leche flan. My husband and my son have been asking me to cook leche flan again. I did cook a lot of them during Christmas and New Year and they could not forget this. They want me to cook again so today I am making their wish come true.

That is really nice that you are making your family's favorite dessert. I have eaten Flan before and it is a nice smooth dessert. I am sure they will love it!

Well i didnt bake. IM not much of a baker and really have to be in the mood for it i guess you can say. Well we went to the store on Valentines day and then we got the different foods we wanted. The boyfriend wanted to make chili so he made that for himself then i got a Filet Mignon and just one small piece for myself and he cooked it on the grill for me and wow was that the best tasting thing i have ate in a while. So Delicious and so proud of him too. So no baking but we did cook for eachother at least.

I agree filet mignon is one of the best cuts of meat. I like to get the ones wrapped in bacon. Glad you enjoyed your dinner.

I didn't bake something for our dinner last Feb 14 but I cooked fried chicken with potato fries, an experimental veggie salad (radish and tomatoes with oil and vinegar dressing), and a special fried rice.

Your so sweet madam, sadly for me, I wasn't able to spend that special day with my partner. I would definitely cook her favorite Filipino dish if I had the chance. ong distance relationship is kinda hard.

Long distance relationships are hard. My daughter's husband is in the Army. She stayed with me awhile and we would laugh at some of the things he wanted us to send him while overseas. He wanted Twinkies LOL. We did manage to get him a box hope they did not get crushed. I have a feeling he ate em anyway even if they were flattened in shipping LOL. Have a wonderful day!
