Latest Update On My Health

For anyone who has been following my problems, it has been a long 7 months or so. It seems like every time that things started to get better there was a set back. It has been one thing after another with the Fibromyalga. Personally I know it is just things god is trying to show me, as in patience and Faith and there will come a day when I will be able to look back on it all and know it was truly worth it all. For some reason, not sure if it Medication complications or Fibromyalga caused I have been having Chest pains on and off again since Monday. They usually are just mild now, but for some reason my BP is really high at times as well. I am truly thinking it is definately one of the meds, but the Doctors might think I just need to up the Fibro pills. It will be interesting to see what really happens from here. But the wound is improving again. They are still doing the Oasis.. which is to help the skin heal... or a form of a graph, and it just seems like it is taking forever for it to really heal, and wonder if this will ever heal? Thought about checking out NuSkin, and seeing if it would work faster, but does it help heal wounds that are Chronic? Sometimes I still wish the Veins could be rechecked to make sure the blood flow is actually reaching that area. But overall I am still believing that God is in control and good things will come. Just taking time to get there. ~~TINA~~

That is wonderful Tina... Also, what randylovesdar said is a good idea, to be able to monitor your BP at home, you can make sure it doesn't get too high..Now you take care, I am still waiting for "the wound is closed up and gone" post..

I do have a BP machine so I can test to see what my BP is doing, and if the medications are helping. Actually that is how I am able to tell that my BP is still running high even away from a Doctors office, and know that one of my medications is affecting it. But I am hoping that it will be soon as well that I can come here and say the wound is now closed and knowing it has been worth all the time and trouble.

I'm not sure about the NuSkin. Maybe time is better. I would definitely ask about the chest pain and high BP. When do you go back?

Well, things have started getting a lot better with the wound again. Just not as quick as they would like though, and so they are doing another ultrasound, etc. of the veins in my legs tomorrow and see if there is anything there that is slowing down the healing. They are getting a little confused as to why it is always at a stand still and gets to one point and then goes no further. As for the Chest pains it is due to my Fibromyalga, and they think when I am not taking enough of the Neurontin then the pain will get worse. Also could be stress and weather related more with making me hurt more as well. The BP is a lot better since they added one other BP med that helps with some of the swelling caused from the Neurontin. I have even had my BP go too low a couple of times since I posted this as well. So now watching it a lot more closely.

I know how desperate I get with it, to I could not imagine not having it. Especially with everything I have had to endure. And just when I seem to think everything is getting better, something else happens or it still seems to take it's time. Someday's it can really be a challenge.

Well, the chest muscle pain is usually associated with my Fibromyalga, and the last cold was something they were able to give me something for as in Cough syrup, etc. A lot of the problems also are Dust where I work, and other allergies. But anytime I feel my chest hurting a little more or tightening up is usually a sign I might not have been taking enough Neurontin for my Fibromyalga.

First of all, I'm just a newbie so know nothing about all of your health problems. I'm sure I will learn about them as I read about you further. But now just wanted to tell you how I'm hoping and praying everything will be OK, for you.

not that i would tell anyone to ignore chest pains i, my husband and a friend have fibro and we all get chest pains and i know me and my husband have been to heart docs and everything and they cant figure it out. my husband has had them since he was a teen. mine since mid 20s. so i dont know if its a fibro thing or what but after getting it checked out and every so often getting a repeat of it checked and if everything is fine im guessing fibro. i know i have had some scary ones lately but ive just been checked like 6 times in the last year so im trying to just write it off as acid reflux, fibro or stress

I don't know where you get this patience from. I don't think I could do it. The mixture of meds may be causing you BP problems. I think mine does. Chest pains would be scarey. I get pleurisy just out of the blue and it is no fun at all. It feels like a knife is being stabbed in my chest both front and back.

KrauseHome, I am not or have not been on mylot so much in the past 2 or 3 months and just off and on for weeks at a time before that, so sorry to say, I have not been keeping up with your health. Even so, I am very sorry that you are going through what you are going through. I am not familiar with your wound or even familiar with fribromyalga. Only that it is very painful. Something about nerves I think. I hope that the Doctors with God's control will get this condition under control so that you can have sometime to rest and feel good. God bless.

Thank You for your thoughts and concerns. It has been something personally I think to only show me how god is in control even the days I may not always feel the Best. It always seems to be I have the good days where I think things are getting better and then I have the days where I wonder if things will ever end. But slowly but surely things are improving, and it has been worth it for sure.

Hi Tina, I am glad that the wound is healing. If your Blood Pressure keeps on going up I would ask the doctor if he can order you a Blood Pressure Monitor so you can monitor your BP at home. Randy has a BP monitor and he loves it. he likes being able to monitor it and seeing that his BP keeps on dropping. I know how you feel about God challenging us, Randy and I feel that way too with his foot condition and him having Diabetes.

Well, I do have a Blood Pressure monitor. I had to pay 100% out of pocket for it, but it was a good investment for sure. The main issue is a lot of times my BP reads lower at home than anywhere else, but when it is running high for me even at home, that means something more needs to be done. It truly has been a roller coaster game as when one thing starts improving it seems like something else then becomes an issue. Sometimes I think it is just another way God might be testing me.
