I was told yesterday by my E90 had the capability to track the caller, for example, we will know where he was making a phone call. It's an interesting feature, I guess. He said many of cops like using it to track the suspects. Does any mylotter know this feature, do any other cellphone have the same capability?

People can enable GPS features on certain phones, and allow certain people they call to get an idea of where they are. But as far as law enforcement goes, if you have a phone (other than a disposable one) they can track you. Every cell phone "pings" the closest cell tower so it knows where it is on the cellular network. That is how the phone company knows where you are to route a call to you. If your phone did not ping cell towers and tell them where it is, you could never receive calls on it. You could call out because the phone would hit the nearest tower when you attempted to call, but not receive them. And your phone pings cell towers if you are on it or not, so yes, with the proper subpoenas, law enforcement can find out where you were at a particular time. The only way you can stop that is to turn the phone off when not in use, or leave it at home. Turning off Enhanced 911 is not enough as that service only allows 911 operators to see your location, which you probably want them to do if you are calling in an emergency.

if I call 911 the police will know where i am? What about nokia e 90 in the question? If we call someone from E90, we will know the position of the person we are calling, that what I was told about.

Let's go back to 911 emergency number that we dial. As I know although the phone is out of coverage, we still can call this 911, right? Does the person who picks up my call know where I am positioned? Or will he/she ask where I am?

If the phone is out of a coverage area, no calls go through, not even to 911. I think you are speaking of a deactivated phone. As long as there is signal present even a deactivated phone can dial 911, at least in the US anyway. As far as will the 911 operator know where you are, that's not always the case. Where I used to live I was near the borders of 3 counties, and of course each county has their own 911 system. So in the few instances I dialed 911 from a cell phone, I always asked the operator if I had the 911 service for the county I happened to be in. The problem here is that a tower may be located very close to you, and in my case, I would hit the same tower if I was in any of those 3 counties when I was close to it.
911 operators generally ask your location when you call, for those reasons, and also as a back-up to the point of origin generated by the automated call system software.

I don't have it. I was told that many police use it for tracking criminals. So E90 is now most wanted cellphone. Are you going to buy it? It's also comfortable for mylotting.

My friend has such a phone but she doesn't know about such capabilities. This is my first time coming across it and it would be good if all phones have such functions. That's a good way of tracking down nuisance and prank calls. I don't think many users of that phone knows about that ability so it's good to spread it. ALl i know is that E90 has a lot of applications in it, something different from the usual phone and yet it's not a smartphone.

Smartphones have the capability of doing that. Smartphones have gps system which can track someone or something's location. I have that on my phone and it's very convenient.
