Friends....... I am soooooo curious... Is it wrong for a female to wear a male belt??? Take for instance in my case, i have terribly big feet for a female such that i end up going to the male section. Is this case applicable for male belts? How are they any different?

I don't think it's wrong at all... I mean, if it fits and is nice looking, who cares? A lot of "women" belts are just the same as mens, but with different sizing. I personally haven't thought to look in the mens section for a belt. I don't think men can really get away with wearing women belts, though, as some womens belts are more feminine (with things like flowers/designs on them). That might look a little strange. But to each's own!

There are some belts that are really designed for women, especially the colorful canvas-type of belts. Other belts for women are less than an inch in width and obviously not meant to be worn by men. Some have buckles also that are designed in a feminine way which makes it really awkward for men to wear them. On the other hand, men's belts are usually plain and simple and so it could be worn by any gender. So I think there are still belts that are gender-specific and men usually are the ones who have limited choices.

here, Most of the belts are gender based. But today, I am sure there are many brands that make things which are not gender based. Again, as long as anything suites you, I see no reason to be carried away by what others say or think... After all, it is your comfort and your life

i have a leather belt of my dads that i have used for years, i wear it with my jeans, i don't see it being a problem for us ladies to wear mens garments be it a belt, jeans, even sandals or the like, so no it's completely fine to wear a mans belt, i do, i don't see anything wrong with that, but others may differ, we all have our own tastes
