Here in south India the hotness each year is increasing, moreover going out makes us too tired. Drinking lots of water and being tired and finally being sleepy. We have mostly cold drinks….but at times during night it becomes bit cold. As lots of concrete buildings have come up the wind too is heated up…Hope to take some rest now…

Hello Sham,
The weather in this place is surprising and turned to unpredictable. There was much hot before 2-3 days but it turned cold again due to some snow fall in neihbouring states. Unfortunately Delhi does not have climate on its own. It shivers when there is snow fall in Shimla, HP and J&K and the hot will be in peak when it is unbearable in Rajasthan. Luckily there is not much hot still, cool wind is there in evening and morning and it surprises me. However the hot waves are not so far. Now we are sitting without fan but slowly we need fan and AC together.
Summer fruits are already available in the market, water melon, musk melon, tender coconuts are in sale which is really good to beat the hot. Curd is also good and should be included in daily diet.. Rooh Afza is a wonderful summer beverage; you will feel really good if you have the same in summer.

When it gets hot here, it can make me very tired. Even though the place I work at is air conditioned, it doesn't seem like it is because of the size and the fact that there are always big doors being opened and closed. I sometimes leave there exhausted from the heat. I usually try to stay as hydrated as possible...then I sometimes take a nap when I get home.

Drink a lot of water. Water cools me down all the time. And the only other thing I can think of is to wear as few layers/as less clothes as possible. I have this problem a lot in the summer too, when it is 90 degrees out and 90% humidity. I sweat my brains out. I am not looking forward to summer for that reason. Best of luck to you!

There is a nice little cafe on the corner of the street where I live, and the next streeet a few blocks up from here. They have nice out-door tables, and they serve hot and cold coffee and tea drinks in the summer. They have a really good one called a chilatte, basically a mochaccino smoothie with crushed ice. I drink a lot of those in the summertime.
