How can i improve my writing skills?

This type of discussion goes back to when I am still in my elementary years.I have a very good teacher in my language subject,as what English subject was called before.My teacher told us that good English can be learn diligently through reading any books or magazines.It can be learn when you are reading something then come to cross a certain term that is not known to you,then search it in the dictionary.Take note what your teacher have teach you when correcting your school works.I have put it all in my head and start applying it in my daily usage of the English language. You can become a good English writer by doing what I told you because it really helps me develop my English skills.Then try to have a talking skills by yourself in your own bedroom so that you can have privacy without the shame that others could hear you talking without a companion.When you realize to yourself that you know much of the language try to talk to a person who do not speak anything but English only.I beat you can talk to anyone without an a caution your English would be developing tremendously into excellent one.Try it I know you would be successful.

i wrote a ton of stuff from poetry to short stories to non fiction articles and it is hard to be good at them all so i stuck with writing non fiction but have tried my hand at all 3. there are free courses online that you can take for writing, also reading books on writing will help but the best advice i can give you is to write, write, write. don't worry about it being perfect, you can edit it later, just write!

Writing improves with practice. The more you read and write, it gets better. So stop worrying as everyobe learns from experience. When I started online writing 5 years ago, I has great difficulty typing and putting my thoughts in order. There were spelling and grammatical errors. Despite failures, I continue as a writer as I am determined to do it. I want to earn better each day. Being a mother of two, I lack time to devote to writing with all my passion. So my advise is to read more with special focus on improving your writing. It will get better!

Also, visit writing blogs and forums that is where you would meet writers with different styles or approach to writing, so definitely when you interact with them you are bound to improve in writing.

Reading a lot will always be by far the best thing you can do if you want to boost your writing skills. It's almost incidental, you start to try imitating the authors, and by doing so, a wide range of skills are developed!

I think to improve our writing the first tips could be, reading a lot. Reading will help improves our vocabularies and give us idea the how to write itself. Also someone here at mylot ever told me that reading other people writing and learn how they transform ideas into words will improve our writing. The last tip I got is read aloud what we wrote and it will help us minimize error. Good luck

hello there! i am new to writing too and only when i became a mother, way back 2010, that my passion to write came out. it is like a desire to share your thoughts and experiences as a mother. so i started a blog to where i am writing most of the stuffs i want to share. you are write that writing is continual improvement and learning. you need to practice and read a lot. i suggest you start a blog and make blogging a daily routine. it will be hard though at first but you will be used to it soon. write about your self, your work, your family and anything under the sun. but make sure that what you are writing for is interesting to the readers that is why the subject of your blog is very important. remember that always be your self when you are writing. don't make an impression of you are not and be true to the readers. you will gain confidence from your readers. happy mylotting!

Got four words for you, read, research, practice and "listen." The first two is important to enhance your knowledge because nobody wants to read and article with no sense at all!right? Go with the details and verify if the facts are true. You do not want to publish an erroneous articles. As everybody says, practive makes perfect. Even the English speaking people even needs practice in spelling, grammar and sentence construction. And finally, listen. Listen in different ways. When you publish your articles, of course there are some critism, try to take note of their comments and adapt the ones you think will help you become a better writer. Enjoy writing!
