I have had things stolen from me. The last thing I wrote was about someone who was up to no good. No matter where you are, you plug in your cell phone and get on a library computer, then you run the risk of having your property stolen! That goes for anywhere you are in public. You always need to watch your valuables. It is not very smart for someone to try and steal from someone when they are right there keeping an eye on what and who is around them at all times! The guy who got up and touched someone else's cell phone only to have the person get up and grab it from them should know better when there are people watching and security guards walking around. I have seen one security guard get all the phones that were plugged in unattended and take them to lost and found.

I really don't think that there is ever a reason that someone needs to steal and that is why I won't do it. I can't believe that there are people that will take things from someone that is right next to them. It is simply uncalled for.
You see, people work hard for the things that they have and to have them taken away from them is something that simply isn't right.
With that said, I keep my phone in my pocket at all times when I'm not at home so that it cannot be stolen from me.

Such is the risk of the society that we live in. It is almost like you need to have a couple of extra sets of eyes to keep them on everyone because it only takes a few seconds of not being attentive before someone steals something of yours. It can happen in a flash, it can happen in an absolute instant. You might think that it will never happen to you.
I think that is is a rather good thing that I am what they call properly paranoid, where I don't trust anyone to be near my personal possessions. Then I tend to limit by travels to what is absolutely necessary and I don't bring anything that I cannot afford to lose. What a world we live in where we have to take all of those steps. We live in a world where people would sell their own mothers if it made them a few bucks.

For some reason i have never experienced being stolen from, especially a phone and i've always been using high end expensive phones since the cellphone craze started.
But i have a friend who's always a victim of cellphone snatching. He even lost a laptop and it was stolen right under his nose.
Old people once said that there are people who attract negativity no matter how careful they are with their belongings. And in my case, i was always careless with mine but i haven't experienced being stolen from.

Well, i wouldn't say i never steal anything, but i really think that stealing is not a good activity and i hate them totally especially when my item is the one that being stolen. But friends really take a role in this things. Like when my friends wallet being stole at one cyber cafe in my are, all we do just look at the cctv of the cafe after look for the guy who steal it. We only talk at first, but if he didn't want to admit it and give the wallet back, we do it the hard way if you can understand what i'm saying.

If I plug in my phone ANYWHERE that I don't trust I stay with it. I sometimes leave my cellphone on the table in the breakroom while I go get water but I'm only gone a minute and if someone was to take it they'd just take it up front to lost and found, where I'd say "that's mine, give it back!".
Anywhere else? NOPE.

It's good that you are responsible for your stuff. It is sad that this is not always the case. That security guard was being nice but maybe those people needed a lesson. There are going to be desperate people in life, especially in public places. They are not necessarily horrible people, they are just lost and looking to survive most of the time. I don't like being stole from and I quit stealing when I became an adult. I of coarse experimented as a child and teen with what I could get away with. Never anything big, small stuff from stores. Some people don't grow out of it. And if my mom would of better of taught me about the subject I wouldn't of stole then probably either.

Unfortunately, the thieves exist, and always have been. Although there is a Sacred Commandment that says explicitly: "DO NOT STEAL", unfortunately many people do not respect it! A shame!
I am very averse against thieves, I can not bear to property of any kind, is subtracted from a person. Of assets a person can have multiple such as: money, jewelry, cell phones, and more ...
We, who are the good side, we still keep our eyes wide open unless we want to finish victims of theft by the human "scum"!

I am always really cautious-maybe because loads of times those people commit these crimes who you're suspecting least... and it is really sad to see how many people are so careless about their stuff. Last time I was on the underground, there was a girl who kept her cellphone in a semi-open pocket on her backpack, and it fell out. In front of a suspicious-looking guy-but it was her luck that they guy actually gave it back to her. But he could have stolen that pretty easily.
