Kindle-Fire

A while back my son sent me a kindle-fire. I am very disappointed in it. I hadn't even thought about having one so I hadn't checked any reviews to see if it was something that would fit my needs. The only thing I ave been able to do wit it is play a few games. I t s pretty expensive just for spider solitaire.
I can get on the web but the darn thing jumps around so much it's difficult to do any thing with it.
Do any of you have one and if so how o you like it?
My granddaughter got the kindle for books for Christmas and it seems to be ok for that although a couple of weeks ago the pickcles 
(I guess that's what they are) started acting up and parts of the page would become a mes and unreadable. Amazon did replace it with out many questions since the warrentee was still in pace. .

I am currently researching the kindle fire for the first time. You were pretty negative on it about 4 weeks ago. Feel the same now?
The most inexpensive ipad sells for about $399 and the kindle fire is half that much. It sounds like you do not consider the money saved worth the frustration in using that you have encountered.

Hello djb. I didn't buy the kindle fire that I have. I am not very techincal savy so was having a real hard time wit h mine. For myself I still would not have bout it. But I am learning more all the time with the help of my granddaughters and just fiddling with it. The kindle fire does have some instructions but to technical for me.

Of course the Kindle Fire can't compare with iPad. But Kindle Fire is really less expensive. However, I think you have to use it for reading mainly. As to playing the games or surfing, I think it is better to buy another kind of tablet or iPad.

Hello Chins. I'm sorry that it has taken so long to get back to you. As said My son sent it to me. I'm sure his wife did a lot of research as she is that kind of person. I am getting better with it. I can see some videos and answer some
face book friends and do a little of other things
