Where I am the best time to see it is supposed to be tomorrow night at about 9:30 pm. Probably my view will be a little blocked because of were I am and because of city lights since I am not planning to driving anywhere to see it. By the way your discussion reads like there is supposed to a photo with it but there isn't.

You get the prize for spotting the (not) deliberate mistake! I got what I thought to be a good photo of the Moon, and tried starting this discussion with it..but it must have been too big an upload for mylot,so it didn't take!
I'll se what I can do to cut it down and try again...

Yes, I did see it. I was disappointed that evening because it was very cloudy and misty in my neighborhood. Even the weatherman announced that we would not be able to see anything. But, I always miss out on celestial events. And this would probably be my last chance. So, I went outside anyway. Everything was a very dark grey color. But, off to my left, behind my house, was an area so bright it looked like it was morning. It was the moon! It wasn't as large as the pictures I had seen on the internet. It seemed to me to be the size of a bowling ball. With all of the clouds, it looked like a bald man resting his head on a fluffy pillow and covering himself with a down comforter.

The sun hasn't completely set yet and so the moon isn't out at it's brightest yet. When it does I think I'll go out and take a nice pic or two, or three and upload them to facebook and maybe even here. It'd be interesting to see what the moon looks like from different aspects and cameras.

I heard of that in the news yesterday. I am looking forward to it, it happens this Sunday in our place- so tomorrow. I am quite excited to see it.
I like being outside looking at the moon since it seems so peaceful and nice. The picture is nice.

It is interesting to note that you are studying the solar system. I just hope that you come out with some research result that will help the whole of humanity to understand the world better.
Geography and Space Science have come to stay.

Ya. The moon really looks great. We experienced blackout last night but it was still very bright because the moon was really big. It feels like it was very near to me. It was really great watching the moon last night. The clouds and the billion stars. I would really like to sleep in a plane area somewhere in a mountain lying on the ground watching the sky.
