For me, the best era for music would be the 80's era. I would say there are a lot of great singers who became popular in the 80s. Now if we go back to the past and had a chance to watch a concert of one of the 80s popular singers, who would it be and why do you choose that singer?

Duran Duran was really very popular at that time, and their main rivals were Spandau Ballet and at that time I liked Spandau Ballet music just a little better. It would be great to have seen both of these group's concerts if I would turn back the time about 30 years ago.

I was very young when these groups were very popular. All I can remember about Duran Duran is seeing them on tv having their concert, and I see them as very lively singers running everywhere from the stage :D

Hurray for Duran-Duran, I would also love to see them perform live in a concert. I want to witness how Duuran-Duran fans like me would go crazy when they see them perform at their prime.

For me I was just in love with those long haired guy bands of the 80's! One of my favorites was Def Leppard. I saw them in concert three times. Loved each concert. The 80's were some good days! I miss them.

Def Leppard really sounds familiar but I still can't recall them in my mind..what was their most popular songs? Anyway, talking about bands, one 80s band I wanted to see was WHAM which is the group of George Michael ( that's how I remember george michael's group, although I liked him also as a solo ). I would have loved to see the band of Louise Huise ( I also forget his band name and his name spelling )and would have liked Billy Joel have a concert in our country as well.

Def Leppard is a British band very popular here in the states. They sing Rock of Ages, Pour Some Sugar on Me, Photograph, Ever Needed Someone So Bad, Pyromania, the list goes on and on. I loved listening to WHAM. It was a shame when they broke up.

Yes, it's great that we can still see old music videos of our favorite 80's artists and enjoy them. One of the singers I would surely wanted to watch back in the 80s would be Michael Jackson and for female it would be Janet Jackson, because I think Janet is the female version of Michael and I loved her music and bet as well. How about you, do you have a choice for the 80s artist you would have wanted to watch in that era live?

Queen (I know they part '70s, but they were popular in the '80d too) and Spandau Ballet! I was born in 1989, so I didn't even have the chance to see them live in their heyday (let alone I'm Hungarian :D... Queen once came to Hungary., and still, the concert is considered one of the cult concerts in Hungary and from videos, I know it was top notch and so thoughtful and great and all).

Queen is an icon and very talented. Probably their most popular song was "We are the champions" but I may be wrong because they had a lot of hits in the past. Anyway, I hope I can learn more about your country because I don't have much clue about your culture, the people, the places and food and other things.

Aside from Duran-Duran, I would love to see Michael Jackson and Madonna perform again at their prime. Madonna is still here and can still pull off a great concert even to this days but it would probably be a different feeling if I would be able to watch her on her prime.

I agree, Madonna was the most popular singer in her prime so I can imagine the big difference in watching her then and watching her now. Yes, I would also like to see her perform live and she is one of the most unique, interesting and probably sensual singers of all time.
