Saturday night, I posted a simple Mothers Day greetings on my mom's profile page in a social site.
Honestly, I never expect she was online and gives my heart a big leap when she responded with " THANKS, LUV U ANAK" (ANAK- child)
I posted a topic last week about missing to tell my mom I love her.
And here I got a surprise from her- it made me cry (sob, sob)
Then came another message-no,a special card with personal message from a dear friend.
Gosh- it filled my nights with tears (huhuhuhu)
Yesterday my brothers sent me a Mothers Day greetings and it really made me tears.
Oh, I forgot I am on a meeting (but I didn't care)
hey wait, I am getting senti and emo- or sign of aging.
Uhmnn- they say, people gets emotional and sensitive as we get older (am I that old- hehehe)
Have a greet week everyone
jaiho®- love everyone who made me feel I am important (~_~)

Hi jai
That's true, as we get older we become more sensitive/sentimental/emotional or whatever you wanna call it
But actually I would feel the same as what you feel because the cards, messages, if there were any special surprises too will make me feel so delighted and touched and feel that I am important.
Happy Mother's day to you jai, what presents have you got from your kids?

a pleasant day jaiho2009,
well, generally, people really get emotional and sentimental especially if they are becoming old. since they are getting more matured and experiencing almost every hardships that life brings. as in your situation, perhaps, those greetings are not commonly done every year so it looks like it is a special greeting. aside from that, maybe your mom was too preoccupied on so many things and so as you are, so there is no chance for you to have a simple talk. same thing with your brothers. and since each of you are growing older, you are somehow gaining the wisdom on how to budget more of your time in every aspect including the time to be spend with family members.

hello airasheila,
This year is a bit touchy for us (my family) since our mom did not come home for a visit- which we (me and my siblings) expected.
We encourage our mom to spend her vacation for a change- a holiday trip.
So,she visited and spend her holiday in Italy.
Me and my siblings missed the fun with our mom this year- that's the reason why I felt so emo and senti (hehehe).
Thanks and have a great day

Hello there, I think you just felt the warmth of love from your family since you haven't seen them always, isn't it?
I know when it comes to families, we seldom say those words that's why we can't help not to cry at times and be senti and emo for a while. Is it true that when you age, you start to get senti and emo? HUhuuhu...

hello annavi,
Yup, my mom lives abroad and this year she did not come for a visit.
Although we (me and my siblings) agreed about it.
We encourage her to spend her vacation for a holiday- so,instead of coming home, we ask her to visit her cousin who lives in Umbria Italy- for some change.
So,this year is a bit touchy for me and my siblings (missing each other) :(
Getting older..oh well, no one stays young anyway, so be it :p
have a great week

Oh my dear jai,
Your right sometimes even little things that touch our heart makes us too emotional, even soaps that we can relate we almost cried.
Im happy that your mom respond to you so sweetly, i hope someday you'll find the way to have a longer talk.

I am not at all surprised to hear this, things are predestined, has to happen when the right moment comes, and it came, she realized the mistakes.

It's okay to be Emo and Senti , jaiho. That means we are still after all humans, not robots.
Speaking of being emo and senti, i myself is one too. I would shed tears even when i am reading only, something that touches me. There would be some times, that as i read my daily devotional , after my morning prayer, tears would be rolling down freely down my cheeks. I have to suppress it though, because my husband is asleep on the other side, and i know when he sees me that, he would joke - nababaliw ka ba? ( you going crazy? ) and would surely laugh at me.

hello D,
Oh dear, yes, women are too emotional and men do not understand about it (ugh).
Yes, there are times that we cannot avoid to feel so touchy- like, we wanted to cry for simple things (hehehe)
So, what...yes, we are humans and not robot, so let's enjoy the tears

I thought Emo means something else as the way you describe/use the word.
Anyway nice to hear your mom surprised you and you can appreciate it as well.
You are your brother's mom as well??
I don't think we get more sensitive if we get older, I think it depends on who we meet, what this person means to us and what is said at which moment.
Wish you a great week as well.

hello Kitty,
Young genre describes "emo" in different way (not sure how they define it)
Our mom lives far from us, she's living/working abroad.
I also live far from my siblings- so I am missing everyone.
Maybe, I am just having some sentimental moods that made me in tears easily since last few days.
Thanks and Happy Mothers Day
