hi friends.not the best way to end it seeing chennai win yet another close match and defenutely not best to wake to see IPL in spot-fixing mess again.
apparently 3 ipl players, shalabh srivastava from kings XI,monish mishra from pune warriors and TP sudhindra from deccan chargers fell for one of the TV stings operation.
shalabh talking about 10 lakhs to bowl no ball since he can bowl a mximum of 2 no-balls in the entire tournament.
same with sudhindra except he did touch 6 figure mark.
mishra is something different.
he claims sahara paid him 1.3 crores of which 1 crore being black money and 30 lakh as white.
didn;t understand the concept but something was amiss there.
srinivasan has asked for the whole tape being taking action.
not the best news for cricket fans when IPL is reaching that stage of the tournament.

It's the worst thing to happen, an even like IPL where players are brought by team owner more than they can earn playing for the respective countries and doing thins kind of operation behind the scenes becomes just unacceptable.
Let's see if this can be proved and what BCCI takes action against alleged players if proven guilty ....

i believe 23 no-balls were bowled in this season and so far only 1 four and 1 six came off the freehit.getting 5 to 10 lakh for bowling one no-ball is a great deal for young cricketers who knows that the only way they can earn money is to get into the national team or through bookies if they believe they got no chance of making it big.
too easy for bookies to snap them up.

I totally agree with you, stardustcdsd... I saw today's newspaper in the morning & saw the image of Shalabha Srivastava in the sting operation. I did not get time t read the entire article as I was rushing for work... But, I am definitely going to read it in the evening...
At the office as well one of my colleagues was wondering how can Deccan Chargers still loose matches after putting 180+ runs on the board.. All of these are thoughts to ponder upon... I personally wouldn't be surprised if spot-fixing stories are brought out in the open... I am pretty sure the BCCI knows about it & might actually be encouraging it!!!! This is really very very sad...

for all we know any of those close finishes we witnessed may be a spot fixing things.

Yes, the ugly head of spot fixing again makes itself visible. At least BCCI has taken some action and have banned the three players pending further investigation. I think in such instances it is important to act immediately and put a stop to the matter before it becomes too big.
Cheers!

Too much trouble for Bcci these days they are not gaininig enough from the ipl and not other association doing brust of thing sin fancial troubles and next is match fixinmg a par is that Indian team is not going good also.
I didn’t heard about the news and I heard got to know just now and it is fascinating sure very bad. Why those player are doing that and taling money and what? They will gain temporary scuess and it will goes from where it has came. Now IPL is in the stage of end and if people got to know that match was fixes and mught the coming one will be they will not going to see it even though the match final or semis. If it like that more black money will come in the game. I knew that franchise are playing much of the things here and they are but ……..
Question is whatb is reputation of IPL remain in people’s mind?
