I should be sleeping now

Was so tired today so after work, i returned how immediately and arrived there by 5pm then slept immediately. i was woken up for dinner at 8pm. a bad time to eat dinner, i know. It ruins my diet routine. now I'm having trouble sleeping, great, so instead i use my time here on mylot at least knowing that i would earn at least even just a little. I should be sleeping now, i will probably sleep during the boring discussions at the hospital again -sigh- gotta go...

hey hii friend, this kind of thing happen to me too. the problem is when you decide that you have to sleep , then most of the time you will find that you are unable to sleep.may be "i have to sleep". or i Got to have some sleep" kind of things does not work for me.but when i have not decided anything, i easily feel sleepy and fall asleep also.

It's annoying right? Why our body teases us this way, wanting to sleep at a time when we should be awake and keeping awake at a time when we should be sleeping.

Ha ha, I know how those days are. I am having one of those right now as a matter of fact! Either you gotta get more sleep or have more caffeine. Best of luck to you!

Oh my, no. Caffeine is not ideal in this situation hehe. I have to take control over my own body not rely on caffeine. But coffee taste so good lol

Same here. Between family and work I hardly got any sleep the past couple of nights. Hopefully I'll be able to get some sleep after I get home. On the plus side at least I'm off tomorrow. If I can't catch up on sleep today, maybe I can tomorrow... Happy mylotting!

Like 3honor said, you must do something like taking a walk outside your neighbourhood or watching tv, you will end up not sleeping if you sleep as soon as you tired.

i was tired because i lacked sleep since the week started, my body and mind could barely function that time so i had to take a power nap. Thanks for the advice though, i'll keep it in mind.

Well, I understand from your discussion that you are actually tired. I know, when weariness assails you, especially when do not resting well, it's a bad thing! You should, in my opinion slow your rithm, or do things more calmly, without worry. Especially try to sleep well.

Thank you, i was worried because I had to go somewhere early the next day. Say i was still on mylot at 2am and I had to wake up early by 6am. hehe I'll do better on my time management, and resist temptations to spend more time with my computer.
