The Preakness is Today

I realized yesterday that The Preakness is today. I plan to watch it. I am rooting for the horse that won The Kentucky Derby, I'll Have Another. The Derby was a great race and I hope the same for The Preakness. If I'll Have Another wins, I will watch the third race always hoping to see the next Triple Crown.

Well, well well! He did It! I thought Creative Cause Or Went The Day Well would win. I'm glad I was wrong.

I am glad that you were wrong also because I am always rooting for the horse who won the Derby to win the Preakness and then on to Belmont for, just maybe, The Triple Crown. I have been disappointed many times. Maybe this time, I will not be disappointed. We will know in three more weeks, won't we. The excitement builds!!!

I do not know the date but it will be three weeks from last Saturday. It's three week from The Preakness. I will post a discussion the day before reminding everyone.

Hello friend, Thanks for the discussion.
I've not been able to watch any of the horse racing events this year. Please, watch for me. My hubby is very ill again, and that has taken all my attention. Like you, I love to watch the races and pray to see a Triple Crown winner one day. When I was very young in Ohio, I remember one of our neighbors being deeply involved in horse racing. They had some of the most beautiful thoroughbred horses and a lovely farm they kept them on. They went every year to the Kentucky Derby and I remember all the preparations they made. Glad I was able to experience that much involvement in the racing world because I feel it gave me a deep appreciation of it. I'll be thinking of you as I visit with my hubby in the hospital and hope I'll Have Another does win!!

I am sorry that your husband has taken ill. I hope that he gets well soon. This must be very hard on you.
I will watch for you and let you know who wins. The excitement will continue building if I'll Have Another Wins. If not, I will feel disappointed.
I will post another comment later today and give you a review about the race.

Thanks. They moved my hubby out of ICU into a regular room and he is slowly improving. I appreciate you watching for me and letting me know. That is awesome. Hope I get to see Belmont.

Well, by now we all know that I'll Have Another did win the Preakness, which just adds another rose to his crown. Once again, there is the chance that there could be a Triple Crown winner this year. This is something that hasn't happened in my lifetime, but there is definitely a part of me that thinks that this year could be the year that it does happen.
So, when the Belmont Stakes comes about, I'll definitely be cheering for I'll Have Another.

It was another very exciting race. I will definitely be rooting for I'll Have Another to win Belmont Stakes. it's been a few years since we had a horse win both The Derby and The Preakness. I think the last one was Smarty Jones. Remember, "Smarty, Smarty, Smarty".
