I always find a hard time in getting up early for brisk-walking or jogging, so I am thinking of taking a jog in evening around 6 pm whenever I skip in the morning or it is not advisable to do so in the evening. What do you think?

Jog when you have the time and make sure its a while after you have eaten. I jog on the wiifit plus in the evenings once the children have gone to bed, my way of chilling out and getting fit all at the same time, also if I do the 30 min jog I can switch the tv channel and watch some other tv show so the time goes quicker, plus i can muti task as well.

I am interested with that wiifit I,m gonna find out how's it working and maybe can request with hubby. I have this circle thingy that when you step you need to twist and turn your body but for me I got boring and I feel that it was a lame exercise to do at home

I always would prefer to run at night or evening than the morning. I could never drag myself up early enough -- the thought of waking up earlier than I have to (which is 5 AM on the week days) just makes me cringe! Plus then you have to think about how you'll probably have to shower, etc, after doing so, meaning you'd have to wake up even earlier. No thanks. Plus sometimes it would make me super tired so I would just lag through the rest of my day. I used to like jogging AFTER dinner just because A) you've just consumed those calories, and I usually have a lot of energy in the evening. Plus, it's a lot cooler at night than when the sun is up - so it's a good plan for in the summer. The only thing I"d be concerned about is if you live in an inner city (I do) - so if you do - be wary to stay out of bad areas or unlit roads, run with someone else, and/or maybe even carry some mace. Best of luck to you1!!

Although it is hard to get up in the morning to go out for a jog, it is almost certainly the best time of day to be able to do it, as your body is fresh from sleep and you haven't been tired out from doing everything else that you would need to do during the course of the day. However if you feel as though you would prefer to go in the evening then I would say that it is fine to do so. It's much better to go at all than just not to bother, so you should go whenever you feel as though you would be able to have a good run.
