Has anyone on MyLot seen the video where Will Smith was at the red carpet in Russia for the release of new movie Men in Black III and a Russian reporter approached him to "show his respects", we assume. Upon shaking Will Smith's hand and giving one of those partial man-hugs that men do respectfully, the Russian reporter actually successfully landed lips on Will Smith's cheek and then proceeded to kiss him on the lips from what I saw. Will Smith pushed him off and kind of back-slapped him in the face and laughed it off as if the guy could've definitely received much worse from that experience and needed to back off. It was HILARIOUS. I would post the link, but I am too lazy to find it right now. It is accessible on the #TeamNoSleep Facebook fan page at https://www.facebook.com/TeamNoSleepTM. You MUST SEE IT ! lol

I saw the video a few days ago and i think its a little too harsh to give him the back hand. From what i see,the reporter didnt even look like he was trying to kiss him,but maybe its just me.the best part was when everyone cheered like crazed-fan girls when he slapped the reporter lol.

lol yea the reporter did look a little stunned by Will's reaction.. just as stunned as Will looked by the "kiss" haha and yea everyone reacted a bit childishly to the incident as far as the bystanders lol.

I haven't seen the video that you are talking about, but I have certainly heard about the video. I think that it was wrong of the reporter to have tried to have kissed Will, but I think that Will being a public figure, he should have reacted differently to the kiss than he did.
It could be that there are differences in culture that made this reporter do that, but still, you should respect all people's cultures.

I can agree and disagree with that. Yes, Will should have been more aware of the cultural differences as well as the reporter, but some things that happen that people are unexpecting may result in a not so respective reaction that should be considered human nature. I'm just glad that it didn't turn out as worse as it could've for the media representative and the celebrity both.

Yea, I just think that was Will Smith's first reaction. I don't think he meant to hit that guy, or would've hit him otherwise if he hadn't tried to kiss him. I think he handled it very professionally.

I seen this earlier today,it was so funny. Will Smith would probably have knocked the hell out of him if he wouldn't have been in front of the camera.
I am from the United States, all the heterosexual men that I know would have reacted worst than Will Smith did.

Hello
Mrscallands, Who on Earth with the right mind would react the same as "kissing the reporting back?" let me guess, A Russian too? there's no way he would get the same reaction from a black guy like will smith! he got so lucky he didn't get beat up live on that premier. the reporter was ignorant and should have known better. this isn't big issue to me, that reporter got what supposed to be a LOT worse thanj just a freaking SLAP

I had watched that earlier. I think it may be a culture clash, but I agree that it did make me laugh out loud. I couldn't imagine what must have went through Will's mind. lol :)

Yea he was probably angry/amused/flattered/surprised/mad all within the same moment. I couldn't imagine, but I think he handled it quite well!

I saw the video and didn't get the feeling it was really slapping. I think that yes he got angry and I would to. I had lesbian accointances and have nothing against them, but if one tries to grab me or kiss i wouldn't like, i wouldn't slap like Will either but no, I can't kiss a woman. I think he touched him and said like 'Hey, don't do that again or something.'
And I'm preatty sure now he's straight
But I love gays, not trying to be homophobic here, I really defend them and all and think they should get married. I also never turned any lesbian away, even when we knew each other and she hit on me, just can't be close if she is into me, just like I wouldn't be with a guy that is in love with me, but don't turn them away.
