Two flagrant fouls in the Heat/Pacers game. Pacers were lucky their guy only got a flagrant one. I thought he deserved the flagrant two. If you watch the replays the guy hooked his fingers across Dwayne Wade's face. That's an intent to injure. He drew blood too. Pacers were crying for a flagrant two on Haslem. I thought the refs made the right call. In light of the circumstances it did keep the game under control. Haslem knocked the guy on his rear end but the way he hit him didn't look like intent to injure. It was just a hard bump to help him understand the message. Not a fan of either team. What do the rest of you think?

Udonis Haslem has currently been suspended for 1 game with no pay, and Dexter Pittman is suspended 3 games with no pay. The Pacers guy who got a flagrant 1, Tyler Hansbrough, deserved a flagrant 1. It didn't seem like a flagrant 2. Tyler Hansbrough was not suspended at all, while the two Heat men were.

I never saw Pittman's flagrant because I went to bed. I had living way out east during playoff time. I have a real job and have to go to work early in the morning. That little wink got him into a whole bunch of trouble. Not too bright to do that under the watchful eyes of television cameras. Got to see it on the news during the day. Payback isn't even a good idea in hockey. Good grief this is basketball. If you watch Hansbrough's flagrant in slow mo he hooks his fingers in attempt to gouge. That's just wrong. He should have got a suspension too. I don't feel sorry for the other guys. They got what the deserved.

the refs must be consistent throughout this series. playoff is another level of play, usually hard plays. but there must not be an intent to injure or hurt another player. just go for the ball and play physically, but no hurting please. basketball is the profession of these players. if they get injured, they will have to look for other jobs.

The NBA is out of control. These grown men act like kids and throw tantrums that could potentially hurt people severely.

I wouldn't go so far as to say that the NBA is out of control. There are a number of players that have to grow up. I won't condone some of their stupid and childish behaviour. Deliberate efforts to injure another player are just plain wrong. Both of them will likely be fined for their trouble. That is the way it should be. Punishments may not be severe enough though. I love basketball even hard nose basketball I just don't like the dirty stuff.
