I am the only one without a new place to live

Okay last year this time, myself and my friend Bev wer looking for a place. Bev needed to buy a house because her family moved to a different state and I needed to get out of here because of the electricity problems and I needed a cheaper place to live.
My other friend Sally wasn't even thinking of moving yet.
Well Sally and family got an offer they just could not refuse and now they are moved into a beautiful new home.
Bev is offline now because she has made the move and she is still not hooked up to the internet yet.
I am the last one and there is no sign of when I will get my low rental, it could be 5 years from now for all I know. I keep getting bumped lower down on the list every month.
I am not making as much money writing as I used to and I really need to get into a cheaper place.
I am happy for my friends they needed new places too, but I am sad that I don't even have any word as to when I will have my low rental.

By low rental do you mean section 8 or rent assistance? I would say check into various localities in the area. Depending on where you want to live, you can apply in different places to be on the waiting list. I know here it's a city section 8, the city a grew up in it was rent assistance, I wonder if you can apply to more than one place or desired city so you have a better shot on that waiting list?

low rental is low cost housing, we don't have section 8 that is an american thing. You don't look around for places, you apply the the city housing and they find the place for you here. This is how it works and I am on the waiting list for one of their housing units, I just have to wait until they have something for me.

I'm really sorry to hear that things are going so well for. It can be difficult to see your friends being able find places of their own, while you aren't able to do the same. Hopefully, things will change for you soon though. Things will change.

Well, lucky for your two friends, huh? I think it is unfair that you have to wait so long. I can remember when you were telling us about the electrical problems and wanting to get out of there. Still nothing. Why do you keep getting bumped down on the list? I can see if the military coming back does it but not every time. I hope it comes soon for you. We have lived in this three bedroom for eight or more years now. It needs pain and is sort of depressing because it is in need of that. But its a place to leave. I keep wanting to ask about painting it and so forth but I don't think I will get a very positive answer back.

there is not much military returning here, we have a small military. No this is not veteran housing. I guess there are new people applying that are more disabled than me.

I do hope that you will be able to get into a cheaper place soon. I read your other post about being sick and the weather bothering you. I hope that you get some sort of relief soon. Too much stress can really make you sicker. I will be praying for you.

thank you Shellyann, I will pray for you too. It will be on meltdown the whole summer because I just can't think straight for writing in this weather. I am also experiencing a burnout where writing is concerned.

Finding a suitable house is really a hard task. You have to take time to compared the houses, then prepare things for moving in. It is easy to find a cheaper house, but it is hard to get a beautiful and save environment at the same time. You need to take more time to think about it. If it is only money problem, you can find some way to make more money, so that you can stay in your present house.

I am very sorry to hear your situation now. Money is the big problem issue and we can get many troubles after that.
Currently i rent a house too, and its prices are high too, Inflation in my country are high so that everything is expensive too, including electricity, gas, food, etc..It is really hard but we should pass it.
Be stronger...and i hope you can get out of this situation soon.
