Good call, Wal-mart is an excellent place to purchase inexpensive computers. You might be able to find a deal on a telephone too.

I'm curious, how did your laptop die? Mine has not been working properly for about a months now and I don't know what's wrong with it. Right now I'm using my husband's but am toying with the idea of buying another laptop for myself. Mine still works, it's just really slow and freezes up on me all the time. And by really slow I mean sometimes it takes 5 minutes (no exaggeration) to take me to a site. How does one determine whether a computer can be fixed or if it's time to get another one. My laptop is about3 or 4 years old now.

I am sorry that happened. I paid about $350 for the one I am using, at Wal Mart. The one I had before that was from Radio Shack and cost close to $1000. I am just as happy with this one. Since you use it for so much online earning you should have some way to get online.

I plan to buy a laptop when I can, and I'll be getting it from walmart. There are netbooks in my area for about $248.00 they are very small things though. I thought I would have enough with a profit sharing check but I didn't, and so I will have to wait. Though I may go to best buy or even HH Gregg instead, I'm not sure yet. Tablets are okay, but well they aren't the best. I have one and I don't mylot from it as it takes too long.
