She was French.
She heard the voice of God telling her what to do. She led the French army and defeated some other army in some war--with the English?
I think it was in the 1300s? 1400s? See, I am bad in history. I think it was the time of the Dauphin of France. Who was that? A Louis?
Spelled Jeanne d'Arc in French
She was burned at the stake for being a heretic, I do believe, because she would not betray her belief in God's communication to her.
She was young. A teenager, methinks when it all started.

then i seen a film the messager(starring Milla,quite moving)n' became 2 know her story:Half of her homeland was invaded by the English,but the king of Britain is just a kid.so king charles don't want to listen 2 him...then came famous Joan. she start 2 lead the army at the age of 18(?),saved the surrounded Orlean,so they call her "maid Orlean".
