Do you think being homosexual is a choice or thier born with it?

I really think it's a lifestyle people choose. It's my religion talkng too. It's just that I believe in a man and woman. There are so many arguments about this, but I'm still 75% sure it's a lifestyle.

A person is born homosexual. A person cannot help who they CHOOSE to love or be with. Yes some people can hide it or just deal with being homosexual but I think it's harder for them to hide it then to just deal with it. I'm catholic but you know whatever lifestlye someone else chooses doesn't bother me it's not my life and I'm not anyone to judge them on who they are with or whether they are gay!

I'm all about being non-judgmental. I have had friends that were homosexuals but it's just how i feel about the situation.

It is a choice, some may have repressed memories of abuse and so choose that lifestyle. But they are not ever born with it. God does not create something he considers and abomination. He said Men would choose to have unnatural affection for one another and that it is an aboration to God. Some may not know why they choose it. Is it unforgiveable? Yes if some turns around and repents God will always forgive them. They are lost not abandoned.

This is a great comment. My belief sometimes conflicts with my friends lifestyle but I still love them and try to "help."

In the book of Genesis it talks about how god created the world and all thoose who dwell in it. "And, the Lord saw that it was good." So if God created us, and everything he created is good how is a homosexual guilty of making this choice?

There have already been studies that has proven that homosexuality is actually from the genes. Try looking it up in the internet regarding the human genome project or what they call the homosexual gene. So in conclusion, yes one is actually born a homosexual.

It is interesting how many things they can say that are genetic. I guess it just depends on what you want to believe.

Hi there.
I know that God created Men and Woman to Man and Wife. I know equally that He did sure not make Men and Woman to be neither Man and Man or Woman and Woman. It is sure as Eggs a lifestyle that people choose. As was said in a Panel Discussion at a Camp I went to "People may be born with the Genes of Family Members who have had Gay or Homosexual Genes in them, but it only takes their SELF CONTROL to stay straight, if therefore there is anyone who is Gay or Lesbian then IT IS CHOICE not GENES." It is a LIFESTYLE not a FAMILY TRADITION or anything to this kind of Effect.

God created only 2 human beings---a man & a woman..there are no such thing as gays and lesbians.. so i think it's more of a choice. but science also speaks up---its on the chromosomes and genes of a particular person..it is embeded on the human body's blueprint--- X & Y chromosomes.. the Bible and Science books will never be of same path, ever since...they both have different views on every aspect of human life.
