Do you use Internet Explorer OR Mozilla Firefox

I use Mozilla Firefox. have been using that for over a year now

Firefox only. I hate Explorer to much baggage

I use internet explorer only few times that too because some tool bars are not able to be downloaded from Mozilla other than that i use mozilla or opera every time i use.

I used to use Internet Explorer way back then. I had no option since it is already bundled with Windows, and at that time Netscape Navigator was the only formidable competitor. And Netscape Navigator was not a free product then, so I had no choice back to stick with the default browser Windows has to offer. Internet Explorer is fine, as most sites are designed with it in mind. It is almost compatible with all the sites, and it has a lot of features. But because of its popularity, and because of programming errors in general, people found "bugs" to exploit the features of Internet Explorer. We have seen ActiveX bugs, javascript, buffer overflows, heap corruption and the like. And drive-by sites work well with unpatched versions of Internet Explorer. Not to mention the spywares that hound Internet Explorer only browsers!

When I switched to Linux, Netscape was the default browser, and it also worked well with the sites I frequently visit. And with the release of Firefox, I downloaded it and tried it almost instantly. It worked well also, and in my opinion it is much better compared to Netscape or Internet Explorer. Sites load faster, and I don't have to worry about all those bugs that hound IE. In my opinion, Firefox is better compared to others. And since I am now into Linux, there is no reason for me to use Internet Explorer as well.:)
