Why do postings get no response. Is it that mine are boring?

Im just wondering am I doing something wrong or are my posts just too dull to be bothered with?

No, infact your postings are probably really interesting and well thought out and this is why people don't want to reply. People seem to like the discussions which require little to no thought.

here I responded to one of your posts. I don't know why your other posts are not getting responses.

It is virtually impossible to assess the reason why certain discussions get vast responses and others receive very little. I have no discussions with no responses, but I do have a couple with only 1 response and quite a lot that have attracted only 2 or 3. It could be a simple matter of luck and timing. There are members to whom your discussion would appeal and members to whom it would not, so if the right audience is offline at the time then your discussion could move down several pages before they sign in. As a result your discussion would only be noticed by those to whom it was not of interest.
