What you should do, take it around to a few antique dealers/specialists. See if they'll give you a price quote of what it's worth. Then don't sell it to any of them-make sure they know you won't be selling it to them. They may give you a very low quote if they think you'll sell to them. You could try putting an add in the paper. You could also try ebay-put in a reserve price, that way if the bid doesn't go that high, you don't have to sell it. Only thing I'd be leery of with ebay, would be shipping it.
